Course Curriculum Overview

The course is very nice as it was my dream of getting into fashion technology. I always wanted to learn more about the textiles which the college thought me in a very good atmosphere and support. They provide a more of practical knowledge which is required for the placement and future work

I have attended 2 internships in 2 years.. there are many people who attend 4 5 internships in total of 2 years. The department and the college management provides us with the best internships available in the top companies where we get to know all about the practical aspects of the work flow in industry that will be usefull for our placement and interview

Placement Experience

The college provides the placement for maximum number of students without arrears. The placement will be from mostly 3 to 15 lakh per anum. It depends on the individual attending the placement. The college has seperate placement training program that trainings the students to be placed in the interview.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee for fashion technology is 85000 per year with an admission fee of 3000. There is no pre amount to block as it servers with first come first serve basis. Compared to other related colleges our college provides a basic necessities

Campus Life

There are 15 clubs that run successful every week. There are club like horse riding, civil aspirat club, heritage club, dance and music, and more. Every month there will be 2 club sessions. The clubs also offer industries visit and camps. NCC and NSS are really usefull to be a part of.. I am a part of NSS where we conduct many camps and serve outside also.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facility is really good that the food is also good. It may be sometimes not okay. But most of the times the food here is very good. Briyani is the most fav of all. It will be very good to taste. The bathrooms and rooms are properly maintained with 100 percent cleanliness and support. The warden is also sometimes strict but also friendly in understanding most of our situation and support us in all the aspects

Admission

I am now studying 3rd year in fashion technology at kcg college of technology. I have been in by sports quota as I was in sports. I have attended 2 nationals after joining college which is one of my dream to persue. The college and my department helps me to consistently work with both my passion and studies.

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies. The highest package is 26 lakhs and the average package is 1.5 lakhs. 98% of students get placed. Doing my best in a career as an entrepreneur.
