Course Curriculum Overview

The coarse curriculum is really relevant and comprehensive. It covers all the topics and develop the solid foundation of the student which not only helps him in college but it also helps him to shine in the society.

Class Size: 31Course Fees: INR 57000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fees of my college is 1 lakh per year including the hostel and mess fees. College fees is 57000 , mess fees is 25000 and hostel fees is 20 thousand which is around 1 lakh per year and my college does not provide any scholarship to the students.

Campus Life

Our campus and hostel Life is fun but there is no involvements of clubs and they also should not provide the infrastructure. Also very few fests are organized in our campus.In a year, there is only one fest which are organized by our college

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is really good in our college. The rooms are very good and the washroom and hostel are cleaned everyday which is really good also rooms are really new but the food quality in my mess is not really good

Hostel Fee: INR 20000 per year

Admission

Admission process is based on the merit of 12th class.The application process and cut off is based on only merit it doesn't not took any entrance exam and the aspects that I doesn't like about the admission process is that in private colleges some undeserving students reserved their seats by giving funding to the colleges.

Better campus

Likes

Staff and classroom are top class . Especially aftab sir and sumit sir top class teacher
Lab are top notch bestest infrastructure available there
Timing of campus is good 9:00am to 5:00 pm

Dislikes

There is no canteen in kishtwar campus university of jammu
Infrastructure of kishtwar campus university of jammu is not good
I dislike things like the student bunk their classes

The curriculum was good which influenced me to take the course and due to which my parents got motivated and the prefer to me to take this course. due to this I became knowledgeable and I gathered many job opportunities on my near by area. The frequency of exam was good and I corrected that very exam in my difficult level

Laboratories are top notch bestest infrastructure available there

Dislikes

Tour must be in 2nd semester. Also try to travel to ladakh

Very nice experience. I enjoyed a lot while studying there. The staff is very nice and supportive in nature. Bali sir in office is very nice. Library is available and students can access library there

University offers a wide range of courses, allowing students to explore their interests.
Professors are expert in their fields, providing valuable insights and guidance .
University offers opportunities for students to engage in research projects and innovation.

Dislikes

Buses don't run frequently enough , causing students to wait for longer time and even miss their classes...
Public transportation options are very less...

Placement Experience:

Our University has achieved consistently achieved a high placement Percentage with an average of 50-60% of students getting placed. Our University encourages students to take up internships. The university offers placement training programs to equip students with the skills and knowledge required to crack campus placement

Though the curriculum was designed keeping in regard the syllabus for the ugc net but it fails to deliver the reqired result The teaching methods of some teachers is good while that if some is just page reading

Environment, education, hospitality, green and clean campus, teaching staff is cooperative but those who are sitting in administrative post are not much cooperative , even it will take year or more to get your degree certificate after applying

Delay in the issuance of certificates , administrative staff ethics ,

Research exposure ..j&k is known as the treasure trove of geology Curriculum is designed in more practical approach type. Politics among faculty is the major set back for institute I suggest all faculty will co-operate each other for the welfare of Students Timing of exams depends upon the type of exams

The all over environment of college campus with most compatible faculty.Labirary environment and browsing centers.
That was a girls college about 4000 girls were their in college .
The gaming room was the section i loved most.The carrom,the table tennis etc.I loved the indoor games a lot

Dislikes

Rude behaviour of female teachers and unavailabilty of coperation of other college mates
Unavailablity of health aid in college such as medicines.
Unavailablity of college transport on every route.

I liked my course that i did.The faculty that taught me were all great. They taught every bit with full coverage. The things that they taught was all that i needed ti master my subjects. I learned things and got to crack exams.

Various workshop were conducted which was good
Field trip to jabalpur was the best experience so far
Good communication skills built after the course and boosts confidence

Dislikes

No placement or career counseling offered
Some of the teachers are not equal towards each student
Library space needs to be maintained properly

Course Curriculum Overview:

Practical course is very intresting that's why I chose the course even though they need to do some work on that part as some teachers are still stuck in theory things that's not much relevant for today's need. More workshops should be conducted on weekly basis.

The great college life

Likes

I liked the focused teachers and my classmates there
I also like the environment and building of the college
Also there is activities like ncc and abvp and some curiculla activities

Dislikes

There is no proper sanitization of the college
Class rooms were tight and not ventilated and during rains it become humus
There is no farewells and freshers function for students

There is practical periods also till 5 pm but there is absence of practical knowledge like no field visit and all no picnics no functions of any kind the student remains inside those 4 walls and no exposures to real world

Overall grooming

Remarks:

College has a very good faculty and administration. More focus is on passing the exam than learning new things. Get up needs to be maintained well. Labs are not upto the mark. Student attendence is not ensured.

Nice and Unbiased review of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University Katra

I have applied in many colleges and I also get seat in them but the only reason I use assembly because the college is close from my home. Just because of travelling purposes I choose this college. The admission process in our college is not very difficult. The only way to get admission in the college by csab counselling and by college internal counselling.The cut off of the branch is 60 percentile for general students.
