Course Curriculum Overview
Since this course is not so popular as compared to other streams but the availability of Honor and respect this field provides is worth to opt. Mariners are not only mentally and physically fit but they also own a ton of skills which further helps them in different fields too. Teaching experience is well as the teachers provide a detailed explanation on every topics
Placement Experience
Placements is damn good. Just recently the first year cadets have been given the opportunity to sit in the placement cell. About 90% cadets are placed in well management and ownership companies. Placement is a huge factor that this college have been settled as its legacy. All because of its Old DMET rules and regulations. This college does own the best Cadets in the whole Asia as per the Google too
Fees and Financial Aid
Total Fees is around 11 Lakhs and 30K as caution money. Scholarship they too provide but in the form of state scholarship . Every semester demands an amount of 1,22,500 with that they provide every factility like hostel along with Uniforms and Laundary too
Campus Life
Mariners don't actually a social life that much but ya In our campus we have a Fest that happens every year that is TEMPEST. There Cadets show their talents,skills, participate in multiple things and also own prizes. It's a in campus means everything is inside the campus just like we are in ship so social life is not so much in this field
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility here we have been provided a room where 6 Cadets live together along with our essentials and all the things we have been provided. Though the cleanliness is a bit concerned factor but all together every thing is nicely and properly maintained here. Though its a government college but strictness is at its peak as this campus own Ex service Navy Persons
Admission
Okay! Indian Martime University Kolkata Campus lately known as Directorate of Marine Engineering and Training is the oldest Marine College In India. To become a DMETIAN you have to appear IMU- CET exam and get a rank between 1000 to get admission. Yes reservation too own a stand here where they too can make a seat reserved as this college Provides wider opportunities in Marie Field. On getting a good rank you have to put yourself in selection. Once selected Counseling will be done along with The DG approval Medical Certificate. Once Done and you completed all the requirements you will be ready to become a DMETIAN
