- College is good. Campus is very pretty, we are enjoying our campus life.

Dislikes
- Due to more attempts, many students has taken admission and the crowd is very huge.
- The return of investment is very low. As the placement is not so nice.
- Language is also a barrier. Many students who know native language gets more attention from some teachers.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum of the college is good. As of the course the level of teaching is good in college. Teachers are also good and friendly. Talking about real world applications, it does helps us in enhancing our thinking skills and helps us to examine the problems.
Internships Opportunities
Internship mainly starts from 6th semester that is in third year. Companies like HP, Infosys, Dell, High radius etc come and they do provide good package but dur to huge crowd it is difficult to get your desire package.
Placement Experience
In our college internship normally starts from 6 th semester. Companies starts coming in 3 Rd year. There are so many companies that visit our college such as HP, Infosys, high radius etc and they do give nice package. Average package is around 7-8 lakh per annum and for highest I'd even goes above 60 lakhs.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee for this course is 1 lakh 75 thousand per semester. It is only institutional feel apart from that if you opt for hostel then you have to gave hostel and mess fee . The mess fee is 21500 per semester and hostel fee depends on which room you are taking like double bed, triple or if you are taking premium hostel then you will get attached bathroom and the fee will be a little high .
Campus Life
The campus of Kalinga institute is very beautiful. They does organise fest, KIITFEST includes different types of technical activities and games related to different branch such as computer science, mechanical, electrical engineering Overall it is good and there sports club is very nice.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility is good. They have proper menu for whole week. They gives us four times meal breakfast lunch snacks and dinner. Room is either two beded or three beded. In room, you get one table one chair and wardrobe.
Admission
The admission process was very smooth. They provided us 5 rounds fir the entrance examination KIITEE. The paper was also not so tough it was just like NCERT level aur a little bit higher than that. Application form is available on there website and it is free for all. Students also gets scholarship if they rank top 1000. The examination is of around 2 hrs, multiple choice questions from physics chemistry and mathematics. Time limit is there so you have to be fast.
