Dislikes
- While the curriculum covers a lot, some upperclassmen mentioned courses lacking the latest industry trends. Talk to professors about staying updated on advancements in your field.
- The library's vast resources are fantastic, but finding a quiet spot during exams can be tough. Explore other study areas on campus or convince
- KIIT hostels are social hubs, but rooms can be small and noisy, especially during exams. Consider noise-cancelling headphones or alternative study spaces.
Course Curriculum Overview
KIIT's curriculum seems comprehensive at first glance, covering a widh range of topics relevant to the field. But I spoke to some alumni who mentioned that some courses felt a little outdated. There might be a gap between what's taught and what's actually happening in the industry. This could be a minor issuea, but it's something to consider. It will be great if KIIT could update the curriculum more frequently to reflect the latest advancements. Overall, it seems like a good foundation, but maybe with some room for improvement.
Internships Opportunities
Dude, internships at KIIT seem to be everywhere! Seniors were saying companies roll right onto campus looking for interns. Imagine getting real work experience before we even graduate? Super cool, right? Plus, there's this rumor that some professors have industry connections, which could unlock even more internships. I'm thinking of hitting up some professors in my department soon to see what internship dirt they might have. Snagging an internship related to my major would be epic!
Placement Experience
KIIT's placements are a major draw for me. I hear they consistently attract top companies offering competitive salaries. The chance to land a fantastic job right out of college is very exciting. KIIT also seems to go beyond just placements. The career fairs and workshops sound incredibly helpful, and their extensive alumni network suggests strong graduate support. Even if I don't secure a placement offer on campus, the skills and connections gained here seem to make graduates highly employable. Overall, I feel confident about my future career prospects at KIIT.
Fees and Financial Aid
KIIT's fees can add up fast. My fees is 1.75 lakhs per sem . My friend in BBA said the first year wasn't too bad at ?1.39 lakhs, but that doesn't include housing which can be another ?40,000-?60,000 a semester! Luckily, KIIT has scholarships to help out. They even have one for high performers like me (think ?5,000-?10,000 a month!), which would be a huge relief. Finding the latest details is a bit confusing, so I'll have to dig around the KIIT website more. There might be other financial aid options too, which would be amazing. I hear there are even campus jobs, but getting info seems tough. Maybe I can contact KIIT's placement office directly to see what's available
Campus Life
KIIT life sounds lit! Everyone says makin' friends is easy - the campus is always buzzing between classes. Plus, there's a ton of clubs, from robotics to debatin', so you're bound to find your crew. The campus itself is massive, with a hospital, bank, and even a place to book train tickets - basically a mini-city! Although, I heard the library turns into a warzone during exams, so gotta find a decent study spot before then.
Hostel Facilities
Living in a KIIT hostel is a whole vibe! It's super social, like having your whole crew right down the hall. Super convenient too - no long commutes, just roll out of bed and straight to class. The downside? Space, man. These rooms ain't exactly mansions, and things can get loud during finals week. But hey, that's part of the fun, right? Still beats the struggle of finding a decent apartment and that morning commute. Here's to late-night study sessions with friends and instant ramen for dinner! Wouldn't trade it for the world.
Admission
The application process for KIIT seemed pretty straightforward at first. Filled out the online application easy, but then came the KIITEE. Studying for the entrance exam is veryy stressful! There were way too many resources to choose from, and figuring out what to focus on felt overwhelming. Luckily, my friend who got in last year gave me some tips and helped me create a study schedule. In the end, I did well on the test, but I wish there was a more clear direction on how to prepare for the KIITEE.
