The cirriculum of Btech course is well formed and it is relevant for further studies. Subjects like programming in C and Object Oriented Programming Concepts are pre-requisites for sitting in placement interviews. Besides, there are other subjects such as Operating System, Automata theory, Data Mining which are required for GATE exam. Talking about teaching methods, faculties here are very friendly and they can be reached anytime in the day and also during night when exams are going on. They are very helpful and provide presentation notes as well as advice us to take notes while teaching us in the class. Books are also provided by the university for each subject. One semester is of almost 4-5 moths and then there is an End Semester exam of 50 marks for that Semester. Two semesters in a year i.e. Autumn Semestes and Spring Semester. also in middle of a semester there is a Mid-semester exam of 20 marks. And internal assignment is of 30 marks which totals to 100.

Internship and Placement Training starts from 3rd Semester by the university Training and placements cell. Thus, Internships are offered by the university from 5th semester. Companies like HigerRadius, Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant and many other startups provide internships. Tier-1 Mncs such Google. Microsft and amazon also provide internships. Mostly they are paid with a range of Rs. 10000 to 1lakh depending on the company. Generally tasks include Industrial work such as designing a website, testing codes, Maintenance of websites and other projects such as development of Technology.

From 6th Semester students are eligible to sit for campus placements. Companies like Microsft, Google, Amazon, Yugabyte, cognizant, Accenture, Delloite, Hp, Snapdragon and many other copannies come to recruit. as of this year record of placements 450 companies visited and 5200 jobs were offered with the highest package of Rs. 63 lakhs and a average package of 6.5 lakhs. Almost 90-95% get placements and other opt for higher studies. After, Getting a degree i have a plan to get a job in a very well renowned MNC for which lots of effort is needed.

The Tuition fees for my course i.e Btech in any branch is Rs. 1,25,000 per semester as per 2022 batch. For 8 semesters it totals to Rs. 1400000. The per semester is fixed for all 8 semesters and there is no increase policy. The hostel expenses in my case is Rs. 28000 for 3-bed Non-ac and Rs.22500 Mess charges. Other charges include exam fees Rs.1000 for each semester and Registration fees Rs. 1000 for each semester. Also, Washing machine Benefits can availed with additional Rs.500 for each semester. Therefore total cost of education ranges between Rs 18 - 20 lakhs. Talking about Scholarships, there are many ways but one of them is ranking within 1000 in KIITEE exam for which a student gets Rs. 10000 every month for every semester with some terms and conditions. Scholarships has to be renewed every semesters after qualifying all terms and conditions. There are sports quota scholarships also. I am still studying in 2nd year and placements scenario of seniors is around 90-95%

Social Exposure here at KIIT is great compared to other universities for sure. The campus life is filled with many activities and socializing. There are numerous societies and clubs in every branch. The university campus is huge and is spread over 13 sq km. There is a KIIT Fest every year during January-february which is the annual fest. Besides, there are lots of other programs held on each festival and the university takes responsibilty that all types of festivals are celebrated. Recruitment drives are held for getting into the clubs and societies. There is a central Library for all departments which is of 5 floors. Also, each department building has its own library and hostels have reading rooms with Ac facilities. Books are provided by the university every semester. Sports facilities are very good over here and olympian Players practice at KIIt due the high tech sports infrastructure. many National and state level players are from KIIT university.

Talking about rooms, there are many options available such as 3 bed Non-ac, 2 bed non-ac, 3 bed Ac and premium. 2 bed Ac and premium. There are bed, study table and cupboard provided to each student in a room. Premium facilities inculude personal Bathroom facilty. water Filters are at every corner of each floor in every hostel. First year student are kept seperate in a hostel area so that they do not face any ragging kind of things. Mess and food quality is top notch. The main aspect is cleanliness and healthy food. Food menu included Non-veg And veg options every day at breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner. Menu is different for every day. On special occasions, there is a special menu for the day. The quality of food is very good. Hostel registration is done for every year and can be changed after a year. Hostel and mess fees for 3 bed non ac is Rs. 50500 and i feel this option is very much affordable. There are many options of pg and personal rented room available in Prasanti Vihar

I came to know about this university from one of my seniors. I filled the KIITEE exam on the University Portal- www.kiit.ac.in which was free of cost. it was in online mode due pandemic but now it is conducted in offline centres. Generally application form is released from december and there 4-5 phases. KIITEE exam contains 120 questions for 120 minutes. The difficulty level is easier than JEE Mains. Reservation benefits are only for Sc and St students as far as i know. after counselling, i got Btech course and Computer Science and Engineering branch and also received the allotment letter. Then we were called for induction program and it was a very fluent and easy process. the admission process is very much organised and thus no such improvements are needed.
