Course Curriculum Overview
Marine Biology is being a more relavant course nowadays. I consider field work amd experience as important aspect for marine biologist. University provide oppurtunity to explore the ocean up to an extant other than other universities.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees amount comes around 40,000 and I think that is not much high for a Msc level. Odd semester will be having higher amount than the even semester. Island scholarships are assured for all the students. Other than that concerned state scholarships are also availabe.
Campus Life
Annual and technical festivals are less in Port blair campus comparing to the main campus. Sports and extracurricular activities offered on campus is also poor.There are no much equipments for our activites. Library is not much developed in Portblair campus as other campus and university
Hostel Facilities
Hostel is free but we have to pay the mess fees. Room is sufficient to stay for 2 people. But the toilet and wash room area must be improved. For relaxing they have provided gaming equipments, television, garden area and a good environment.
Admission
The admission was conducted based on the entrance exam conducted on All India level. Acheiving good score in CUET exam was my aim, so that I could enter into a good university in India. Admission process was comparitively slow. They were lag to upload the merit lists
