Course Curriculum Overview

4

The architecture of our classes is really top notch and well furnished. Labs are really good. Teachers are always there to help you solve your doubts. Moreover the library is one of the best in India. Sometimes the relevance of our subjects in our course isn't really good. Subjects like Manufacturing and Processing are there for CS students which i think have zero relevance for them.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

Companies like JP Morgan and Barclays offered stipends upto 85K per month for summer internship and moreover PPO also based on your performances. Many more companies come for campus internships. Moreover college also provides students the opportunity to do various projects under the guidance of our well qualifies staff.

Placement Experience

5

You can apply for internships from 4th semester which give summer internships at the end of the 6th sem and whether you will get PPO or not depends on the criteria set by that particular company. Companies start coming at the end of 6th sem for permanent campus placements. More than 250 companies visit campus for placements like Microsoft, LinkedIn, Apple, JP Morgan, etc offering packages as high as 70 lacs Average package offered is 12 lacs and the previous year highest package offered was 70 lacs by LinkedIn 100% students particularly in CS get placed on campus. My plans after the completion of my course is to work as a web developer at a well recognised company and then after 2 yrs of experience i am gonna apply for MBA in USA.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition fee increases by 10% every year. Complete cost of education for BTECH CSE comes around 25 lacs. You can also get get scholarship on the basis of your economic well being and also on the basis of your excellent academic performances. The criteria for the percentage of relaxation in your fees depends on the CGPA you have obtained. Campus placements are really good. Overall in almost every branch 100% of the students get placed from the campus placements.

Campus Life

4

The famous SATURNALIA fests which is the biggest in North India is organised here in November every year. It's basically a 4 day event in which different presentations are there like standup comedy, famous singers' performances and many more events. Our library is one of the best in the whole India which offers books not only for the subjects taught but also different books to gain interest apart from studies. Our classrooms are well furnished and have got fully state of the art facilities URJA which is one of the biggest inter college competitions is organised every year in which teams from different top universities from India are invited to participate in the fest. Our college also offers different societies which are also important for our overall development apart from studies and these societies also organise events where the students can participate.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Our rooms are really fully air conditioned and well furnished with most of the hostels having separate attached washrooms for every student Quality of meal varies from hostel to hostel as in some hostels mess management is good but in some hostels it is poor We have to fill our priority for hostel at the end of each semestor and according to our CGPA the hostel is allocated. You can get a rented PG outside also as there are many rooms available locally for students around feasible distance from the campus.

Admission

I got admission through CBSE 12th boards cutoff. 50% seats are reserved for home state students. 50% seats are allocated on 12th CBSE marks basis and remaining 50% on the basis of your JEE score. We can fill the admission form available on the college website.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
