What Students Say

infrastructure is good, river ganga is 150m away from hostel so you can see ganga view from hostel balcony , placement were good last year, supportive seniors ,good behaviour of seniors

Dislikes

Bad faculty, worst mess food ,we usually face

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

As per my knowledge,IIT guwahiti is mentor of iiit bhagalpur so curriculum of IIT Guwahati and iiit bhagalpur is same . Classes are held 5 times a week ,around 3-4 classes daily. With 3 labs a week . After 2 months mod sem will occur of 30 marks. Ther will be quizes ,assignments in between. Before 4 days of End sem labs test are held. Which makes Hectic environment , faculty are ok ok. Out of 6 faculty only you can expect that 2 professor would teach you properly. In other 4. You will go for attendance only. 75% is mandatory. Course curriculum is good as per my knowledge. As it is iiit so. Burden is little bit on harder side but manageable. As college is being operating in bce college so condition is not good. All classes are held in a room called virtual classroom (physical). strength of classroom is 150 students. New academic building is ready with approx 75 students capacity. So there is possibility of getting much better education in upcoming months.

Class Size: 75Course Fees: INR 1000000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Every semester. Tution fees is around 1,20,000. You can expect +- 10,000 difference not more than that. Complete cost of education is 12,90,000. Including mess and hostel. . if anyone opts hostel then they must take mess. No scholarship would be provided from college side on the basis of caste and poverty. As it is iiit.

Campus Life

3.5

Out college is almost ready. Excluding library. Library may take 6 months to be completed. Campus Life would be good in upcoming months. Seniors are really supportive. Don't expect too much form professors . Seniors organises many events time to time. Annual technical fest is enyugma and sports fest is udyatva .

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostel facilities are not good. But as hostels are new so rooms are in good condition. We face many problems in shortage of drinking and bathroom water occasionally . Mess food is not good 3/10. Hostel room 8/10. But hostel facilities are provided but not managed properly so 4/10

Hostel Fee: INR 44000 per year

Admission

You must appear for jee main to get admission in this college ,this college comes in iiit category. All admission process will be online on jossa portal. If you get this college then you have to do physical reporting ,would take approx 10 min for physical reporting .

Likes

I like, college is providing good educational background to engineering student who were not go to IIT or NIT with affordable amount of money.
Faculty are highly educated having good teaching methods and mentoring student. They were selected through BPSC examination.
The campus area is extended in approx 50 acares. The campus provide greenery environment which is better for health of student.

Dislikes

The campus is situated far from the Motihari city which result in lack of conectivity with market.
The college campus has much forest area due to it, you can see wild animal like Nil Gay and Snake in campus .
The college is situated 2 km away from the national highway, due to which you face difficulty in traveling in evening after 6 pm .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I has chossen B. tech in Civi Engineering due to I want to do feild work. Civil Engineering branch is one of the oldest branch and base of all branch. The curiculam prepares me for real-world application or further academic pursuits by dealing hard numericals problem , Civil Engineering branch involves strong team work because any mistake in civil engineering team work result loss of life, money and time. The course is improved by providing strong computer application to civil engineering students and involving AI to this branch. In engineering you can face exam any time so you always ready for any examination and apply the daily study routine to life.
