- Worst part of this university is fooding within campus if you want to eat something you have to depends on mess and canteen both serves bezzare foods.

- Litimed availability of hostel seats. There is very less seat availabe for hostel accomodation comparing to admission ratio.
Course Curriculum Overview
After completing dilpoma i prefer to higher studies over doing job and as i have compled my diploma i thought of saving my one year so i decided to take admission in through lateral entry and come to know about this university this is kind of perfect for me because of this is good state funded university which is also nearby me. Curriculam is not so bad this make you industry ready if you do the lrojects offerde by them and take them seriouly. New technological advancement happening in the present word should be included in our curricular syllabus. Aliah university adopts semester system in which there are odd and even semester exam are there odds semester exams happens in december to January and even semester generally happens in june - july. You get 3 hours to take your exam of 80 marks exams are in though side
Fees and Financial Aid
There ia no fees increase policy in our university as tgere is no hike in fees from past 5 years as seniors says. Complete cost of one year education including all fees service fees and all other fees are 15000 and for whole course fees is 45000 aproxx. Aliah university does not offer any scholarship despite of that you can get state sponsered scholarship as well as there is Nsp also as central scholarship state sponsered scholarship varies from state to state and if you fill Nsp you will get amount of 20000 per year.
Campus Life
In our university there is major culcutural fest name aliah aloha which generally happens in november or december every year in which you can participate and perform dance, music or stage play etc And one major tech fest happens every year named AURA In our library our course books are mostly available and you can acess them in the library and if you want to carry them with you you should be the member of library. There is no journal section in our library. Classrooms are of coventional type but if teacher feels need of smart classrooms the arrage them as required. In extracurricular activities you can Serve NSS NCC and sports of you choice. Yes, its some time helpul to find out relevent needs.
Admission
As i am peruing B. Tech mechanical engineeringing through lateral entry this a course which you can pursue after completeing your diploma engineering degree from a recognized university or recognized board. You can find apllicafion form for admission test by visiting official website of aliah university you can find application form under admision section of university website. No i belogs to jharkhand and student ouside West Bengal is treated as general category and they cannot avail any reservation benifits. Frequency of aliah University admission test is it happens once per year and test consits of 100 mcqs for which you get 2 hours to take test. Application froms are generally available from march to april every year and admission test hapeens in june to july. This year application for admission will live from 25 th of march.
