Priority is less for students in case when needed

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The curriculum of this course is designed perfectly to fit the environment of a student starting from scratch either from a theory background or from a technical background both. Also, in real-time situations they teach us the basic principles and applications of this course.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 12000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Right now I am in my 1st year and in our university the annual fees is about 12000 for btech course and it is different for different courses. In the semester fees there is only the tuition fees included that's all. Also everyone here can apply for state scholarship named aikyashree and national too.

Campus Life

In the university, numerous technical fests and competitions take place not only that different departments host different competitions, contests for students of all. In the library there is access to tons of books approx. 15000 and a digital library section is included too, where every book is arranged according to the department sections. Sports are a must for our university, football circket, badminton, and kabaddi, like outdoor games are encouraged in our university. Along with that, the NCC section is also there students taking part. And also there are common rooms gym and swimming pool for both girls and boys.

Admission

The minimum eligibility depends on the 12th results and related subjects according to the course you choose from. Also the reservation seats are not available every one has same the beneficial advantage except only for the physical disabled. The process, in a way, is very good it takes step by step process to complete its admission from the entrance exam to counseling, where in counseling, the process gets divided into Documents screening to choosing your desired course and finally doing your payment for admission

Supportive Faculty - The professors are highly qualified, approachable and always willing to help students
Free wifi support - There are free wifi support for both student and faculty
Fee Structure - It is very affordable and low compared to other colleges in the region

Dislikes

Placement support is below average, and most studnets have to apply for off campus jobs independently, which is really pathetic in the era of ai where getting a job as a fresher is so difficult
There is no dedicated support or placment cell initiative to help studnets land meaningful summer internships or any kind of internships

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements starting from the 7th semester. For placement drives, we have to visit the main campus, Techno Main Salt Lake (TMSL). Since students from other Techno India campuses and branches also participate, the competition is extremely high. In the 2025–2026 academic year, fewer companies visited. Only two companies, Dronahost and WishCare, visited our specific campus directly. The remaining drives—mostly service-based companies like TCS and EY, along with a few startups—were conducted at the main campus. The remaining drives mostly service based companies like TCS, EY etc and quite a few startups has visited to main campus. The package they offered mostly in between 3.5lpa - 6 lpa. Furthermore the selection process of those startups is quite rigorous often consisting of upto 5 rounds of interview, two technical rounds with two technical interviews, and HR round My plans after getting the degree is either pursue an MBA or preparing for govt jobs

Campus life: Hype vs Truth

Likes

The discipline is followed very strictly. Also you have access to library which is good, teachers are helpful and no ragging policy which is strictly followed and has a decent environment.
Thery conduct seminars which encourages students. Many faculty members are knowledgeable experienced in their respective subjects and helpful willing to solve doubts beyond the classroom also.
The college has decent infrastucture including classrooms, labs and library .

Dislikes

While the curriculum is decent ,it lacks sufficeint practical implementation.More hands on projects, real world application and industry exposure would improve learning significantly.
Campus life can sometimes fell limited in terms of active student interaction.Opportunites for clubs, networking and collaborative activities could be improved.
The college comes under St tHomas School so the campus is not great it is compact and has a canteen.

Placement Experience:

I heard it from seniors that before lockdown it was pretty decent but after lockdown the company visits are not that much comapred to before lockdown.Cognizent, Accenture, Mindtree, PQ360 which is a startup company of our senior alumni etc. visits.
