Likes

College life and student culture is good here
A lot of interesting student organizations where you can meet a lot of like minded people.

Dislikes

Placement support is bad and they have bad policies when it comes to palcement.
Hostels are very costly and they are in really bas shape.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is decent, it has all the basic subjects during the first year like oops and digital electronics. Then you can also choose some electives based on your interest. I chose cybersecurity is was good.

Placement Experience

You will be asked if you want to enroll in placement during your final year. if you choose yes you will get opprtunities , But for BCA it's not much ,better go for a masters . If you still want you can register and you will get decent number of oportunities.

Fees and Financial Aid

I got 50% scholarhip based on LPUNEST. I am not sure if they still give 50% but, you can get scholarship based on your board results and LPUNEST scores. If you live in hostels your expense may wary based on the room you choose . They have AC, NON AC and dormitory. AC and NON AC also have different prices based on how many people you will share your room with. A 3 seater non can room costed me 62000 /year.

Campus Life

There's always something happening , it's a big campus and a lot of events happen everyday. You can also join DSA where you have a lot of student oranisations for differnt interestes. I joined a. cyber security group and we used to organise CTF competitions.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel rooms are not good comapred to the price and there is a lot of resetriction on when you can enter and exit. But it is more safe inside campus , so it depends on your needs. You also get a lot of affordable PG' near campus.

Hostel Fee: INR 62000 per year

Admission

I gave LPUNEST whihc is a entrance and scholarship exam for LPU courses. LPUNEST consist of same subjects that you have in your 12th and can be given from any nearest center. The exam was not very hard , it had basic questions from 12th and 11th syllabus. After you give you exam you will get result and scholarship in few days.

Course curriculum is relevant and there are many languages i learned, in 2 years , stull having the last year pending all the subjects are totally relevant and interesting to study! The difficulty level is moderate and easy to understand

Likes

Time table is being followed which is very important for us.
In hostels, girls security is superb. Whenever we go home or local outing we must video call and take consent of our parents and after coming back to hostel than also we video call to our parents to ensure we have reached hostel back.
Webinars are held related to our courses to get to know more about are course in India and internationally also.

Dislikes

I think it will be good if we focus on what line we have to go in further rather studying about those subjects which are not much related to our main line of profession.
Sometimes, delays in processes like fee submission, exam schedules or results accouncements.
Outdated labs, libraries or technological facilities can hinder learning.

Placement Experience:

Students typically become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester of their course. Over 170 companies participate in placement drives annually. Notable recruiters include Infosys, Wipro, Tech Mahindra and many more. Highest package is ?32.5 LPA , average package is ?4.5 LPA. Approximately 70%-80% of eligible students secure placement. My plans after getting the degree is probably opting for MCA or specialized certification to improve career prospects.

Environment is great. I had no problems in settling
The canteen is good and the food served their is delicious.
Faculty members take good care of students.

Dislikes

Their are too many students in one class.
The view is not quite good while sitting at back benches.
The projectors are not provided in every class.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in 3rd or 4th semester. Their are several companies visiting our campus for placements some of them are heml, Amazon, flipkart, etc. Average package is around 7 to 8 lacs. I plan to go abroad for further studies.
