In this university they mainly focus on giving the practical knowledge that can be gain by experiment and not only on the theoretical portion There are many competition and events that are held in campus to promote healthy competition The teacher can be more approachable in helping the students through their problems The exams are held here according to semester wise and there are two mid term conducted in one semester that helps students to remain in contact with their studies The level of exams here is neither too hard nor too easy. They are of moderate level .

• Tuition fee : 100000 per year • Hostel fee : around 60000 per year • Complete cost of education is around 5 lakh ( including small and big expenses). • Scholarships : Various scholarships available including special scholarships for lower caste students , As the University is the semi government University. So all the scholarship that are under AICTE are applicable to the students who are studying here. There are many occupational opportunities available as professor, assistant professor and for other staff of the University.

Girls hostel ikg ptu There are two girls hostel in here There are single, double, triple ,seater room available In rooms there are beds , studying table,fans , almirah There is common washroom No laundary system Mess facility is also provided within the hostel itself There includes three time meals and snacks in the evening The quality of food is okish neither to good nor to bad The process to get admitted in hostel is done at the time of admission by fulfilling some papers formality and by making the payment. The hostel room are alloted on the basis of percentage. The University is located on the highway route so there is no near PG rooms, rent facility available to accomodate.

• Eligibility - 12th in PCM with atleast 75% . • Application form can be found on the the official website of our university i.e. www.ptu.ac.in . • Scholarships : Various scholarships are provided by the University based on the marks of 12th , JEE percentile . Special scholarships are provided to the lower caste student specially SC/ST students of Punjab get 100% scholarship. There is no particular exam that is conducted by the University for the admission process .they give admission on the basis of 12 class percentage .
