Course Curriculum Overview
Myself , Abhishek Kumar Mishra, a student from Nepal enrolled in the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) program at KIIT University, I find the curriculum to be comprehensive and relevant to my academic pursuits. The course covers various programming languages, algorithms, and data structures, providing me with a strong theoretical foundation alongside practical skills. I chose this course based on KIIT University's esteemed reputation, experienced faculty members, and the promise of hands-on learning opportunities coupled with industry exposure. In terms of real-world applications, the curriculum incorporates practical projects, internships, and industry collaborations, allowing me to apply theoretical knowledge to practical scenarios. These experiences have been invaluable in honing my skills and providing insights into industry practices. Moreover, the theoretical foundation provided by the curriculum prepares me for further academic pursuits or specialized research within CSE.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee structure is different for me as a international student. I need to pay total of 12,20,000 in 4 years duration time. But Indian students need to pay more. We have students from all over the world like Nepal, Bangladesh, Africa, Syria, Srilanka, etc. We have some financial assistance from Indian government schemes, which is a scholarship scheme, called Study in India (SII) scholarship scheme. There are also some other merit based scholarships for Indian students.
Campus Life
My overall experience with campus life at KIIT University has been enriching, with a strong focus on social engagement, club involvement, and well-equipped infrastructure. The annual cultural festival, "Kritika," typically held in February, and the technical fest, "Kriti," in December, offer vibrant platforms for showcasing talents and fostering a sense of community. The library boasts an extensive collection of books and journals across various disciplines, ensuring ample resources for academic pursuits, and its accessibility enhances research endeavors. Classrooms are equipped with modern facilities and technological provisions, facilitating interactive learning experiences. The campus offers a diverse range of sports and extracurricular activities, encouraging holistic development and physical well-being. Student-run social groups and clubs, such as the Coding Club and Entrepreneurship Cell, play a pivotal role in fostering creativity, collaboration, and skill development. Additiona
