There are many courses available in our campus like computer science, artificial intelligence, Machine learning, electrical engineering, bachelor of computer applications, bachelor of technology in every branch, master degree is also available, you can select according to your choice any branch.

Placement Experience

Placement is good in this university. Componies like Zscalar , Infosys , Excenture visit our University every year . And give placement to many students. Average placement package in our campus is 350000 per annum. Our college counduct many placement fairs. In which students participate and give tests, interviews to got selected by any company.

Fees and Financial Aid

Total fees of one year in our campus is about 85000. First semester fees of btech is 54700 in which 10000 is security fees and second semester fees is 44700 and rest of the semesters are same as of second. Total fees of full degree is 450000 approx

Campus Life

The campus live is very chill. Every one is friendly here. The infrastructure of our campus is very beautiful and very big. Evey branch has its own department. There are A.C facilities in each building . Anti-ragging department work verry well and I felt no type of Ragging till now.

Admission

First of all registration is done. To register in our college there are two methods available, one is direct admission in which you can physically came to the campus and register your self and second method is online counselling, in which you have to fill your form about everything, your information, details and etc. You also have to pay some minimum registration fees which is 1000 rs and rest you are done. Now campus will contact you and give you information if you avail the seat or not.

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

NITJ has a placement cell, also known as the Centre of Training and Placements(TPO office of NITJ). The placement scenes differ depending on the courses offered. The average placements are 12-14LPA in the Computer Science branch. Every year, hundreds of companies, including Pvt and govt both. PSUs like HPCL and BPCL recruit students based on merit and academic excellence.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I’d rate the curriculum like 7/10 in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness — it covers all the major CSE subjects like DSA, OS, DBMS, CN, AI, ML, Cloud, Cybersecurity basics, etc., and honestly that was one of the reasons I chose this course because at least the core subjects are solid even if PTU keeps some old-school stuff in the syllabus. The curriculum does prepare you for real-world stuff, but only to a point — like, if you focus on coding labs and projects you’ll be fine for internships, but if you depend only on classroom theory then it won’t help much because industry wants hands-on skills. For higher studies also it’s okay because theory depth in subjects like OS and DBMS is decent enough. But yeah, improvements are definitely needed — some subjects feel outdated, teachers should use more practical examples, and we need more real projects instead of copy-paste lab manuals; also some faculty teach directly from slides which gets boring fast. Exams come twice per semester (sessionals) plus the final end-sem around December/May; they’re mostly easy if you write long answers, but tricky if you rely only on understanding because PTU likes theory-heavy questions. Overall, the system works, but it could be way more practical and industry-focused.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.
