- The campus is filled with greenery and there are lot of places to hang out with your friends
- The facilities for sports are immense, there are a lot of stadiums offering various sports to play so there are many options
- The food court are in plenty and they offer a huge variety of food and are a good place to chill with your friends
Dislikes
- The faculty here often does not side with the students on university issues
- The weather here is not forgiving at all
Course Curriculum Overview
I liked some of the specific courses such as DSA,DSS and OS and these were some of the main courses I wanted to take .Our time table is very hectic and we have to continuously move around going from class to class . With comparison to any other university we have 2 major exams each semester so 4 exams in a year
Fees and Financial Aid
Till now there has been no increase in fees and there is no such policy as an increase in Tution fees hostel fees on the other hand are subject to an increase in payment . In a year the total fees can exceed 2 lakh this includes tuition,hostel and mess fees .Scholarship are given with the regard to how well you do in the entrance exam . If your rank is under 1000 then you are applicable for scholarship .I have not undertaken any campus employment of sort
Campus Life
There is only 1 annual test throughout the whole year called the Kiit test and are held during the starting academic year . Our library has a variety of engineering and medical and related books . Immense facilities are provided in class such as smart boards , air conditioners,etc. There is also a huge number of sports that you can pursue as the facilities provided here are second to none . There are many societies and anyone can choose to be part of any society,After joining a society you may find it very hectic to manage college life as well as completing work from your society
Hostel Facilities
In the hostel we are first provided with bed sheets ,pillow covers ,a blanket, a pillow,a desk ,mattress, bucket and a chair . The meals provided to us are decent in quality and the variety is also plentiful.
Admission
There was only 1 elegibility of 75% above in PCM for appearing the entrance exam as it was during covid lockdown all details like application fees,forms and date of exams were found in the official website of KIIT, we had 3 different phases of exams and in which we only needed to attend 1 for qualification other wise you can attend the other phases. Finding the information itself in the website was little tough because of the layout
