Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is good as per me. In the first year they focus on the pcmb. Teachers are mostly friendly . First year is a bit easy for me bcz it had only the pcmb and I had a clear knowledge about them . There are basically 2 exams mid sem and end sem per semester . Both the semester was easy for me. But in 2nd sem i scored more marks bcz of the subjects and teachers .
Internships Opportunities
After the end of 6th sem companies start coming for internships. The most common internships done by kiit student is the high radius internship . They give proper guidance to the students . Kiit also conduct a class called Kareer School where the teachers give us a detailed information about the placements
Placement Experience
From 3rd sem onwards students start doing projects focus on internships. Thoudh students start to apply for internships from 2nd year only . It depends on yourself and how much you are prepared. The average package is 8,00000 and the highest is 54,00000.
Fees and Financial Aid
The institution fee for our time is 1,75,000 and 1000 for the exam registration. Hostel fee was 22,500 . As I mentioned earlier if you get above 90 percentile in your entrance exam then you will get a scholarship of approximate 60,000(not sure about it) . There are also facilities for the family's whi have financial crisis.
Campus Life
The campus of KIIT University is great. You will see lots of flowers around the campus which makes it more beautiful. There is a place called rose garden and you will get to see many beautiful flowers.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility is so so. As you all know hostel food is not so good. Yeah our hostel food is like average. I must say that they maintain proper hygiene washing the bathroom everyday 2 times. My hostel name is Queens Castle 4
Admission
Kalinga Institute Of Industrial Technology in Bhubaneswar is a well known prestigious college known for its placement and friendly environment. I gave the entrance exam of kiit (phase-4) and got 89 percentile and applied for the CSE branch . The entrance exam consists questions from pcm level medium to high. For getting the scholarship in the entrance exam you should mainly focus on physics and maths. Your base should be very strong and clear. . After the exam if you are shortlisted they will ask for the branch you want to apply then acc to the marks they select whether you are applicable for that branch or not.
