Likes

The thing which I like about the kiit University is the greenery and big campus
The campus of kiit University is quite big
The second thing which I like is the friendly nature of students and the staff

Dislikes

The thing which I dislike is there is lack of interaction between senior and junior
The third disadvantage is the overcrowded campus
The campus size is quite big and it become very impossible to travel each and every place as there is no possible available transport system

Course Curriculum Overview

the course which I choose it's CSE the course curriculum of CSE is quite balanced. the demand of this course is quite high because of ample job opportunity provided every year examination is conducted which is characterized into two parts mid semester and its semester. the difficulty level of this examination is quite easy and one can score good marks only after reveaving the previous year question paper

many internship opportunities are provided in the key University from the 3rd year mini company visited and the put the CGPA criteria a some company don't put cgps criteria and they only conduct entrance test .

Placement Experience

the placement scenario of get started after the third year many company visited the kiit university every year there are some company which food the CGPA criteria for applying into their entrance exam the average packages 8 lakh and the highest offer is 63 lakh according to the college placement source the placement record is 100%

Fees and Financial Aid

the tution fee of gate University is 175000 will go on fluctuating every year or maybe in 2 year . there is also a scheme of scholarship with it provided to those student who scored a rank of below 1000 the scholarship amount is 400000 which is deducted from the total fee of Kiit University which is 20 lakh

in every year first fest is conducted called kiit fest which is conducted in February. the first continue till 4 days there are various types of games which are conducted in 1st period and at the end star night is conducted. there are various society in kit University in which student can enrolled by passing the interview

the hostel of university is quite big and spacious there are various categories of postals like three bed non AC 3 bed AC 2 bed non AC food quality of mess is white average and okay okay type one can register for the process of postal by login into the link provided in the email there are also option of rented room but one can only reside in those after 1st year

Admission

there is exam called KIITEE which is conducted in 4 phase every year. the application form of Kate University is free of cost and the link of examination is present in the official site of kiit only. the difficulty level of kitty exam is average and one can easily score a good marks and get into their dream branch called CSE

I like the vibe of the canteen and greenery around my college

I don't like 75% attendance and the strictness of the faculty members

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is now updated since it became a University, so its more relevant to industry now but still we have to do extra courses for coding. Exams happen every few months—2 internals and one end-sem. They are not very easy, you actually need to study to pass without backlogs

Likes

The infrastructure of each campus in the college is very pretty and it's a green campus
The classrooms are well equipped with WiFi, Smart-boards for digital education.
Also travelling from one campus to another has been made easier as buses and golf carts are provided to students

Dislikes

The crowd of students here is too much which feels too much chaotic and disturbing .
The hostel management here as they don't give importance to the major issues here.
The hostel mess food. The quality is degrading day by day

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college is good. This year 75% of the students are already placed with an average package of 8LPA . The highest package till now for this year is 22LPA. Many companies have visited for the placements and 100+ offers have been made. Companies like BNY, Infosys, Deloitte, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, Bain& Company, High Radius, TCS, EY, PWC and many more of them have visited the campus.

The college campus greenery and campus cleaning management are doing really very well that is the only good part but that doesn't matter much for your career.
⭐⭐There is nothing good to mention about this college after going through all the procedures from taking admission to degree,I regret and many of my friends also regretting taking admission into this college.⭐⭐

Dislikes

They have a good well maintained cricket ground but students are never allowed there only for commercial purposes and to attract new joinee.
Staff and management are very helpful and polite only till admission done.🥲.
Hostel food quality is extremely unhigenic, no one takes responsibility after many complaints also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum was very classical , too much theory oriented for placement point of view they will provide last 1 month or 2 months training for aptitude part rest for technical you have to study on your own.

Likes

Beautiful campus with lot's of space and with good computer labs
They conduct exam in very smoothly manner

Dislikes

Need to improve administrative building while submitting fees many students face problem
Lab session of some subjects are too long which is around 3 hrs which need to reduce for atleast 2 hrs

Placement Experience:

Placement opportunities in my college are good, with students generally becoming eligible for campus placements from the pre-final or final year, depending on the course and company criteria. The college has an active placement celll that supports students by Organizing training sessions, resume building and also mock interviews.

Likes

Have collabs with IBM, Samsung, Capgemini for RnD and NUS singapore , University of North Texas
Our college has hosted International Conferences like IEEE InGAARS 2025and Indocrypt 2025, where scientists had came from NASA, ISRO, all IITs, Foreign Universities, etc
Exposure is Good. The teachers here put efforts to teach and research. Unlike other colleges where teachers comes and roll out PPTs, here every teacher teaches on Board explaining everything properly

Dislikes

Few teachers speak in Odia accent, so it takes couple weeks to adjust
Campus is kind of small (36acres), but its good area for a IIIT, considering IIIT delhi is just 25 acres
3 occupancy hostels for 1st years (same goes for any other NIT/IIIT), but they have a option of single rooms from 2nd year

Placement Experience:

from 6th sem, students are eligible almost 100 companies visited including IBM, VISA, Infosys, DE Shaw etc. Highest is 63 LPA and avg is 12-13LPA 90% placements I may consider doing MBA if I dont get very big package

From sixth semester you are eligible for campus placement. Companies visited are Tata power, Adani, OPTCL and others.The highest package for electrical engineering is 10 lacs. 60percent marks is required for getting placement.

Likes

Things I like is to good faculty, garden.
VSSUT provides the best amenities and bathrooms.
Excluding hostel & other facilities are like good.

Dislikes

The water quality is not good at all from mess side.
The drainage system is not maintained well.
The surroundings are not clean and the guarda are strict.

Placement Experience:

Some say that the celllege has better placements, but that the salary is not very lucrative. Infosys, Tata Steel, IBM, Wipro, Cisco Systems, Larsen and Cognizant, Maruti Suzuki, Adani Group. My plans are to go to better iim for mba

The professor who taught in our class they are taught is best In teaching.
They provide you many opportunities to work upon on you.
The infrastructure of college is good and huge.

Dislikes

The campus is very vast, and you have to walk for every minute of work.
The are very serious about your study and what you are doing
The gate get closed if you get came late even it's 5-10 minute late.

Placement Experience:

It's good as many company come but the placement directly depend on your study and hard work of your 4 year and a pre placement also conduct in 3rd year where you can also get placed. For placement the student should secure 8-10 cgpa for sit in interview exam.

KIIT Overview And The Reality

1.Like i did not apply so many colleges but i got selected in my state government college in it branch but i did not go there becuase there not so many companies comes for placement and internship and there not a much opportunity 2. REVIEW OF KIIT FROM A SECOND YEAR STUDENT

Apart from KIIT I also applied for PES university, VIT. I got confirmed admission in CSE branch of these colleges but these colleges are far away from my home. So distance is one of the main factors for not choosing other colleges instead of KIIT. For taking admission in KIIT one has to appear in the KIITEE examination which is conducted in CBT mode. After the exam result will be declared within a month. Then one has to sit for counselling for choosing the branch of their choice. The cutoff score is different for all the three phases. For example in 2023, a student securing 15 percentile in KIITEE got CSE core branch but in the second phase the cutoff for CSE core raised to 75 percentile....Read More
