What Students Say

Likes

Infrastructure and the locations of the classes.
The classes are very close because of that you don't have to travel much here and there.
The locality is very good , you get lot of stuff ranging from food to academics to sports.

Dislikes

The campus life and the infrastructure. The fests they organize are very low budget.
The campus is not well organized, and the hostel timings are also very bad.
The hostel in and out timings are very bad, you can't explore the campus at night because the in time is 7:30pm

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

We have very nice curriculum schedule. You can say it is little bit hard in refrence to our level. There is need of some improvement in our course curriculum. Many student like this curriculum and many dislike it.Still i consider it good.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 2000000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Our fee structure is divided into 3 categories i.e institutional fee, mess fee, hostel fee. Institutional fee- 1,75,000, Mess fee- 22,500, Hostel fee- 28,500. But at the time of admission you have to pay the amount of 75,000 admission fee in which laptop is also included which is of 65000. Scholarships are also available here if you score a good rank which is under 1000 then you will get scholarship and to maintain it you have to score more than 7.5 CGPA. Campus placements are descent here, they claim to give 100% campus placements but major recruiter are mass recrutiers.

Campus Life

3.5

Yes KIIT organises various fests but all are not worth the price you are paying to the instituion. Fests are given once a year(every year) and freshers are also organised by them but they are not upto the mark. The library is very big and has variety of books. Faculties are highly educated but most of them don't have the perfect style of teaching. Sports is very supported category in this college. This college offers variety of clubs and societies which includes tech and social service.

Admission

Kiit took an entrance exam callled KIITEE. During our time it had done in 5 phases. I have given the first three phases after that i got my desired branch.Generally it is done in online mode inside the campus but due to covid 19 we have given at our home.

Decent faculty and top tier placements, just follow the rules

Likes

I like the vibe of the canteen and greenery around my college

Dislikes

I don't like 75% attendance and the strictness of the faculty members

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is now updated since it became a University, so its more relevant to industry now but still we have to do extra courses for coding. Exams happen every few months—2 internals and one end-sem. They are not very easy, you actually need to study to pass without backlogs

The infrastructure of each campus in the college is very pretty and it's a green campus
The classrooms are well equipped with WiFi, Smart-boards for digital education.
Also travelling from one campus to another has been made easier as buses and golf carts are provided to students

Dislikes

The crowd of students here is too much which feels too much chaotic and disturbing .
The hostel management here as they don't give importance to the major issues here.
The hostel mess food. The quality is degrading day by day

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college is good. This year 75% of the students are already placed with an average package of 8LPA . The highest package till now for this year is 22LPA. Many companies have visited for the placements and 100+ offers have been made. Companies like BNY, Infosys, Deloitte, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, Bain& Company, High Radius, TCS, EY, PWC and many more of them have visited the campus.

Likes

The college campus greenery and campus cleaning management are doing really very well that is the only good part but that doesn't matter much for your career.
⭐⭐There is nothing good to mention about this college after going through all the procedures from taking admission to degree,I regret and many of my friends also regretting taking admission into this college.⭐⭐

Dislikes

They have a good well maintained cricket ground but students are never allowed there only for commercial purposes and to attract new joinee.
Staff and management are very helpful and polite only till admission done.🥲.
Hostel food quality is extremely unhigenic, no one takes responsibility after many complaints also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum was very classical , too much theory oriented for placement point of view they will provide last 1 month or 2 months training for aptitude part rest for technical you have to study on your own.

I did not apply for other colleges. Before getting admission in KIIT I did hear good reviews about the college and placements here so I applied for the CSE course here. The admission process for KIIT University is simple. You have to register and give the KIITEE exam and based on your exam percentile and your 12th percentage you get selected. REVIEW OF KIIT FROM A SECOND YEAR STUDENT

Apart from KIIT I also applied for PES university, VIT. I got confirmed admission in CSE branch of these colleges but these colleges are far away from my home. So distance is one of the main factors for not choosing other colleges instead of KIIT. For taking admission in KIIT one has to appear in the KIITEE examination which is conducted in CBT mode. After the exam result will be declared within a month. Then one has to sit for counselling for choosing the branch of their choice. The cutoff score is different for all the three phases. For example in 2023, a student securing 15 percentile in KIITEE got CSE core branch but in the second phase the cutoff for CSE core raised to 75 percentile....Read More
