What Students Say

Likes

Very good collage with many opportunities
The campus life is quite descendent despite the lower in time of hostel
The placement is also quite good enough in this tough situation

Dislikes

Ten mess food is sometimes not stable enough to eat
The class there is way too much croud in the campus
The hostels in time is way too much bad and low

Course Curriculum Overview

I have choosen cse for BTech as I'm pretty much interested in coding and technology related stuffs. Not sure but the ratio is good enough 1:3 Mostly the faculties are holding PhD degree and also has pretty good teaching experience as well There are basically 2 exams conducted in 6 months ( 1 sem) one mid sem and another at the end ie end sem exams and both are of medium to hard level exams . One could easily score 9+ cgpa if he/she is dedicated enough throughout the semester

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 175000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

No there is not such increase in the tution fees and neither there is no such policies regarding that . Kiit provide a financial aid that is garded around the kitee ranks that recieve that aid and also there is a loan option in that too that kiit provides to the students that cannot afford the fees and additional bank hustles.

Campus Life

4.5

All the festivals are celebrated over here from holi to diwali as well here in the hostel specifically there is meals for the muslim students during the ramadan time to break the fast and everyone is equally welcomed

Hostel Facilities

4.5

The menu and everything keeps changing from time to time and everything is well maintained sometimes there are complaints of food but immediately it is being replaced with the whole new menu every month the menu changes.

Hostel Fee: INR 24000 per year

Admission

Should me 12th grade passout with aggregate 60% in pcm The application form is available for free in the kiit official website and upto 2022 the entrance test ie kitee is online No not such but as I've heard 30% seats are reserved for women (not sure) Yes the no of phases of kitee entrance exams should be decreased.

Decent faculty and top tier placements, just follow the rules

Likes

I like the vibe of the canteen and greenery around my college

Dislikes

I don't like 75% attendance and the strictness of the faculty members

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is now updated since it became a University, so its more relevant to industry now but still we have to do extra courses for coding. Exams happen every few months—2 internals and one end-sem. They are not very easy, you actually need to study to pass without backlogs

The infrastructure of each campus in the college is very pretty and it's a green campus
The classrooms are well equipped with WiFi, Smart-boards for digital education.
Also travelling from one campus to another has been made easier as buses and golf carts are provided to students

Dislikes

The crowd of students here is too much which feels too much chaotic and disturbing .
The hostel management here as they don't give importance to the major issues here.
The hostel mess food. The quality is degrading day by day

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college is good. This year 75% of the students are already placed with an average package of 8LPA . The highest package till now for this year is 22LPA. Many companies have visited for the placements and 100+ offers have been made. Companies like BNY, Infosys, Deloitte, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, Bain& Company, High Radius, TCS, EY, PWC and many more of them have visited the campus.

Likes

The college campus greenery and campus cleaning management are doing really very well that is the only good part but that doesn't matter much for your career.
⭐⭐There is nothing good to mention about this college after going through all the procedures from taking admission to degree,I regret and many of my friends also regretting taking admission into this college.⭐⭐

Dislikes

They have a good well maintained cricket ground but students are never allowed there only for commercial purposes and to attract new joinee.
Staff and management are very helpful and polite only till admission done.🥲.
Hostel food quality is extremely unhigenic, no one takes responsibility after many complaints also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum was very classical , too much theory oriented for placement point of view they will provide last 1 month or 2 months training for aptitude part rest for technical you have to study on your own.

Placement Experience:

Placement opportunities in my college are good, with students generally becoming eligible for campus placements from the pre-final or final year, depending on the course and company criteria. The college has an active placement celll that supports students by Organizing training sessions, resume building and also mock interviews.

I did not apply for other colleges. Before getting admission in KIIT I did hear good reviews about the college and placements here so I applied for the CSE course here. The admission process for KIIT University is simple. You have to register and give the KIITEE exam and based on your exam percentile and your 12th percentage you get selected. REVIEW OF KIIT FROM A SECOND YEAR STUDENT

Apart from KIIT I also applied for PES university, VIT. I got confirmed admission in CSE branch of these colleges but these colleges are far away from my home. So distance is one of the main factors for not choosing other colleges instead of KIIT. For taking admission in KIIT one has to appear in the KIITEE examination which is conducted in CBT mode. After the exam result will be declared within a month. Then one has to sit for counselling for choosing the branch of their choice. The cutoff score is different for all the three phases. For example in 2023, a student securing 15 percentile in KIITEE got CSE core branch but in the second phase the cutoff for CSE core raised to 75 percentile....Read More
