Consider taking admission in this college

Btech is quite a useful course as it helps one to be up to date in this tech driven world. The curriculum in our college is also planned accordingly. A semester lasts for around 4 to 5 months and each semester has 2 exams namely mid semester exams and end semester exams. The difficulty level of the exams in moderate. A scope of improvement according to me is that the college can focus a little more on the practical knowledge.

Companies like TCS, Wipro, and Accenture visited for the internship program. They also provide a stipend of around 20000 to 25000 per month and many of them also offer a pre-placement offer. They give the students the opportunity to experience the real-world jobs and projects that one has to handle during his or her actual job.

From sixth semester onwards students become eligible for sitting for placements. Companies like Bain & Company, CME Group, DE Shaw & Co, JP Morgan Chase, MacKinsey, Deloitte, EY, PWC, KPMG, Amazon, Nielsen IQ, Juspay Technologies, Salesforce, Peoplestrong, Factset and many more come for the campus recruitment. The highest package of the last batch was 62 lakh per annum and the average package was around 8 to 10 lakh. The college provides 100 percent placement to the students.

The tution fees during the admission of our batch was 175000 per semester which has now been increased to 195000 per semester. The overall cost of doing btech from this college is approximately 20 lakh including all necessary and miscellaneous expenses. A student who achieved good score in the entrance exam is given a scholarship of 10k per month and any student who tops in any semester is also given a scholarship. Currently I am a member of the quizzing club of the college.

Kiit fest is an annual event held every year in the month of February and apart from that there are many other events held on a regular basis by different clubs of the college. If we talk about the accessibility of the books and journals available in the library then there are many different types of books available in the library ranging from technology related to non technical like books of literature and history related books. The faculties in the college are very friendly and all the classes are equipped with a smart board and air conditioners. The college also has national level cricket grounds, badminton courts, tennis courts, volleyball ground, and many other sports facilities. There are many clubs managed by the students like quiz club poetry club debate club and many more.

A room in my hostel has 3 beds for 3 borders and 3 cupboards and 3 tables. It also has 3 chairs 2 fans and 2 tube lights. There is also a facility of ac rooms for those who opt for it. The food quality of the mess is neither too good nor too bad. But according to me it can be improved. The hostel is alloted to a border only during the time of his arrival to the college.

In order to take admission in this college one has to apply for the KIITEE which is held in 5 phases. After each phase there is a counseling session in which you apply for your preferred branches. The application fees for this exam is zero and there is no reservation in this exam. The difficulty level of this exam is same as that of the difficulty level of mains. To be eligible for btech in this college one should have taken physics chemistry and maths in there 12th and should have obtained more than 75% aggregate in boards.
