A student's view at KIIT University

My course CSE is a very wide field with a lot of opportunities and jobs. CSE is the most sought after job in the department of engineering because it has a lot of real world applications to choose from from game development to cybersecurity. The curriculum prepares us well for the incoming job opportunities and teaches us a lot of important subjects like Data Structures and programming languages like Java. The exams are not too difficult and certainly doable with good preparation. I would like to suggest changes like teaching specialization in particular courses like web development machine learning etc.

I joined KIIT through the KIIT entrance examination which was held online. The course CSE required a minimum of 75% percentage in 12th board exams. The application form was supplied from the KIIT official website. The exam was moderate and not very difficult and it required clear concepts of physics chemistry and mathematics. The exam was of 3 hours long and required a working camera and a device to take the exam. Although online examination was necessary due to covid I think a offline re-evaluation or an interview is necessary to truly deem if a student if fit for the course. The exam happened in 4 stages in the interval of 2 months. So if someone missed one exam they could give another and it considered the best of 4 so one could improve their marks as well
