Campus is too good and it's a green campus
Placement is good and it also provide the opportunity to the students
Faculty are too good and they are also provide guidance which helped the student

Dislikes

Kiit is not a close campus so local people are there in near campus so this is not a good things.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course of kiit University is totally same as the iit and the it also met the industry requirements and also help to improve the skill. In real world application it measures the improvement in culture and it helps to improve the student .

Internships Opportunities

Kiit gives you a great opportunity to intership it call many companies for the intership and it also helped the student to develop thier skills Kiit has a policy that students have to do minimum 60 days of intership and a project to get the degree from the collage.

Placement Experience

Placement is good as collage provide good opportunity to the students and it the student who met the requirements of the company would get the opportunity to get placed in the company. 62 lpa is the highest package received by the student and the average is 6lpa Kiit claims that the placemt is hundred percent but in reality it's near about nighty percentage of the student get the placements

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fees of kiit is 3.5 lakhs and the mess fees is 45000 and the hostel fees is 56000 and the mess and hostel fees is compulsory if you opted the hostel of the kiit. If you get under 1000 rank in the kiit entrance examination then you would get the scholarship and you get 1.2 lakhs fees waviour from the fees you have payed

Campus Life

You will get a exposure to diversity in the campus and saw the different types of culture bring up by the student of different state. Every year kiit has its own fest ie kiit fest and it would be too enjoy able for us. The classroom is of international standard and it has all the equipment which is required in the course Kiit has a good sports facilty in the campus and also have gym for each hostel and it provide a good opportunity for the sport exposure . Kiit has all the study material which is required in the library and also has a beautiful library.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel has all the facilities which is required by the student it has also provided the laundry service and the washroom cleaning two times in a day Meal is not that much good but ok type I think students should opt hostel only beacuse is good as compared the roomrented outside the hostel.

Admission

If you have choosen math chemistry and physics in your 12class then you have been eligible for the kiit University The application for the form is present in the kiit offical website and futher details for the exam is mentioned there or they would mail to your registered Gmail account The exam is slightly less difficult then the jee mains and it's has exactly same syllabus as jee paper

No kiit doesn't have this group discussion or the interview and it totally depend on the entrance examination and the rank you get you will get that branch on the compare your branch and this is not depend on that field

I don't like 75% attendance and the strictness of the faculty members

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is now updated since it became a University, so its more relevant to industry now but still we have to do extra courses for coding. Exams happen every few months—2 internals and one end-sem. They are not very easy, you actually need to study to pass without backlogs

Likes

The infrastructure of each campus in the college is very pretty and it's a green campus
The classrooms are well equipped with WiFi, Smart-boards for digital education.
Also travelling from one campus to another has been made easier as buses and golf carts are provided to students

Dislikes

The crowd of students here is too much which feels too much chaotic and disturbing .
The hostel management here as they don't give importance to the major issues here.
The hostel mess food. The quality is degrading day by day

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college is good. This year 75% of the students are already placed with an average package of 8LPA . The highest package till now for this year is 22LPA. Many companies have visited for the placements and 100+ offers have been made. Companies like BNY, Infosys, Deloitte, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, Bain& Company, High Radius, TCS, EY, PWC and many more of them have visited the campus.

The college campus greenery and campus cleaning management are doing really very well that is the only good part but that doesn't matter much for your career.
⭐⭐There is nothing good to mention about this college after going through all the procedures from taking admission to degree,I regret and many of my friends also regretting taking admission into this college.⭐⭐

Dislikes

They have a good well maintained cricket ground but students are never allowed there only for commercial purposes and to attract new joinee.
Staff and management are very helpful and polite only till admission done.🥲.
Hostel food quality is extremely unhigenic, no one takes responsibility after many complaints also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum was very classical , too much theory oriented for placement point of view they will provide last 1 month or 2 months training for aptitude part rest for technical you have to study on your own.

Likes

Beautiful campus with lot's of space and with good computer labs
They conduct exam in very smoothly manner

Dislikes

Need to improve administrative building while submitting fees many students face problem
Lab session of some subjects are too long which is around 3 hrs which need to reduce for atleast 2 hrs

Placement Experience:

Placement opportunities in my college are good, with students generally becoming eligible for campus placements from the pre-final or final year, depending on the course and company criteria. The college has an active placement celll that supports students by Organizing training sessions, resume building and also mock interviews.

Likes

Have collabs with IBM, Samsung, Capgemini for RnD and NUS singapore , University of North Texas
Our college has hosted International Conferences like IEEE InGAARS 2025and Indocrypt 2025, where scientists had came from NASA, ISRO, all IITs, Foreign Universities, etc
Exposure is Good. The teachers here put efforts to teach and research. Unlike other colleges where teachers comes and roll out PPTs, here every teacher teaches on Board explaining everything properly

Dislikes

Few teachers speak in Odia accent, so it takes couple weeks to adjust
Campus is kind of small (36acres), but its good area for a IIIT, considering IIIT delhi is just 25 acres
3 occupancy hostels for 1st years (same goes for any other NIT/IIIT), but they have a option of single rooms from 2nd year

Placement Experience:

from 6th sem, students are eligible almost 100 companies visited including IBM, VISA, Infosys, DE Shaw etc. Highest is 63 LPA and avg is 12-13LPA 90% placements I may consider doing MBA if I dont get very big package

The professor who taught in our class they are taught is best In teaching.
They provide you many opportunities to work upon on you.
The infrastructure of college is good and huge.

Dislikes

The campus is very vast, and you have to walk for every minute of work.
The are very serious about your study and what you are doing
The gate get closed if you get came late even it's 5-10 minute late.

Placement Experience:

It's good as many company come but the placement directly depend on your study and hard work of your 4 year and a pre placement also conduct in 3rd year where you can also get placed. For placement the student should secure 8-10 cgpa for sit in interview exam.

KIIT Overview And The Reality

1.Like i did not apply so many colleges but i got selected in my state government college in it branch but i did not go there becuase there not so many companies comes for placement and internship and there not a much opportunity 2. REVIEW OF KIIT FROM A SECOND YEAR STUDENT

Apart from KIIT I also applied for PES university, VIT. I got confirmed admission in CSE branch of these colleges but these colleges are far away from my home. So distance is one of the main factors for not choosing other colleges instead of KIIT. For taking admission in KIIT one has to appear in the KIITEE examination which is conducted in CBT mode. After the exam result will be declared within a month. Then one has to sit for counselling for choosing the branch of their choice. The cutoff score is different for all the three phases. For example in 2023, a student securing 15 percentile in KIITEE got CSE core branch but in the second phase the cutoff for CSE core raised to 75 percentile....Read More
