What Students Say

Likes

Lots of opportunities staring from sports,tech or co curricular activities
Every week 2-3 competition is conducted by different society
There is a large crowd in the college which makes the environment competitive and eventually make you tougher

Dislikes

I think the fee structure of this college is too high which should be lower
Weather in the city is too hot and humid. Hard to survive
Because the campus is too large you to travel a lot on your own

Course Curriculum Overview

I have opted for computer science because of my coding background and the opportunities that I can avail in the private sector. The course curriculum for 1st year students is all same be it be of any branch and after 1st year you study your respective domain.

This college provides internship opportunities to every student you will be notified about every intership though e mails. And the students who are too skill full starting from their first or second year they gain a lot experience and later a lot of opportunities. Everything you will see your mail atleast 2 internship opportunity

Placement Experience

This college have their own placement cell which takes care of the placement drive conducted in the campus. I dont have idea how many companies have visited but more than 90 percent of the students of CSE branch got place . Highest package was 83 lpa and average 750000. Which has increased compared to last year. I plan is to go for higher studies after completing my degree

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure of this college is too high when compared to other colleges you have to pay on time 75000 in which you will get a laptop and 192000 every semester for tution fees and hostel and mess fee separately. Only top 1000 students of the kiit entrance exam will get the scholarship or if you score the highest gpa in semester exams.

Campus Life

Now the campus life of this is too good because of the large campus and the soo many students and a lot of opportunities for you to involve in sports and extra cocurrilar activities. Alsomost all the sports facilities is available and coaches is available in the campus. Annual fest is also conducted between February and March. which is enjoying for a college student

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is available in the institute and it is compulsory for first year students to stay in hostels,if you wish to take pg after 1st year you can choose that also. Three bedded non AC,AC. Two bed AC and premium hostels are also available for the students. Hostel charges varies from 28000 to 70000. Mess fee is same for everyone that 22500. Food quality is average.

Admission

Basically to get admission in kiit University irrespective of any branch in engineering you have to apply for kiit entrance test which is conducted in 2 to 3 phases. Questions are of 12th standard. Top 1000 students will also get scholarship of 10000 per month. The cut off for CSE is around 80 percentile. Admission process is smooth in this institute. Faculties are very helpful they provide notes everyday what they teach
College students are friendly and affordable

They discriminate between girls and boys always
Discriminate between locals and others mainly if you are from Bihar

The curriculum is now updated since it became a University, so its more relevant to industry now but still we have to do extra courses for coding. Exams happen every few months—2 internals and one end-sem. They are not very easy, you actually need to study to pass without backlogs

Likes

The infrastructure of each campus in the college is very pretty and it's a green campus
The classrooms are well equipped with WiFi, Smart-boards for digital education.
Also travelling from one campus to another has been made easier as buses and golf carts are provided to students

Dislikes

The crowd of students here is too much which feels too much chaotic and disturbing .
The hostel management here as they don't give importance to the major issues here.
The hostel mess food. The quality is degrading day by day

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college is good. This year 75% of the students are already placed with an average package of 8LPA . The highest package till now for this year is 22LPA. Many companies have visited for the placements and 100+ offers have been made. Companies like BNY, Infosys, Deloitte, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, Bain& Company, High Radius, TCS, EY, PWC and many more of them have visited the campus.

The college campus greenery and campus cleaning management are doing really very well that is the only good part but that doesn't matter much for your career.
⭐⭐There is nothing good to mention about this college after going through all the procedures from taking admission to degree,I regret and many of my friends also regretting taking admission into this college.⭐⭐

Dislikes

They have a good well maintained cricket ground but students are never allowed there only for commercial purposes and to attract new joinee.
Staff and management are very helpful and polite only till admission done.🥲.
Hostel food quality is extremely unhigenic, no one takes responsibility after many complaints also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum was very classical , too much theory oriented for placement point of view they will provide last 1 month or 2 months training for aptitude part rest for technical you have to study on your own.

Likes

Beautiful campus with lot's of space and with good computer labs
They conduct exam in very smoothly manner

Dislikes

Need to improve administrative building while submitting fees many students face problem
Lab session of some subjects are too long which is around 3 hrs which need to reduce for atleast 2 hrs

Placement Experience:

Placement opportunities in my college are good, with students generally becoming eligible for campus placements from the pre-final or final year, depending on the course and company criteria. The college has an active placement celll that supports students by Organizing training sessions, resume building and also mock interviews.

Likes

I like enhance my knowledge in computer and technology. I like to learn new ideas in google sheet and AI.
I like hiking and campaign in forest and mountain. And to go in long drive on bike.
Exploring new things which I don't know finding reason on natural phenomenon.

Dislikes

I dislike to follow people blindly. And doing as same
I dislike to worship god visit temple and any regional place.
I dislike to stay at home on vacation or holiday

After completion of 6 th semester candidates are eligible for campus selection. The highest you get around 20Lac per annum and minimum 5 Lac per annum. Around 30 % student get placed each year. Posco, sas motors, jindal, are coming company

My college is best

Likes

Things I like is to good faculty, garden.
VSSUT provides the best amenities and bathrooms.
Excluding hostel & other facilities are like good.

Dislikes

The water quality is not good at all from mess side.
The drainage system is not maintained well.
The surroundings are not clean and the guarda are strict.

Placement Experience:

Some say that the celllege has better placements, but that the salary is not very lucrative. Infosys, Tata Steel, IBM, Wipro, Cisco Systems, Larsen and Cognizant, Maruti Suzuki, Adani Group. My plans are to go to better iim for mba

Likes

The professor who taught in our class they are taught is best In teaching.
They provide you many opportunities to work upon on you.
The infrastructure of college is good and huge.

Dislikes

The campus is very vast, and you have to walk for every minute of work.
The are very serious about your study and what you are doing
The gate get closed if you get came late even it's 5-10 minute late.

Placement Experience:

It's good as many company come but the placement directly depend on your study and hard work of your 4 year and a pre placement also conduct in 3rd year where you can also get placed. For placement the student should secure 8-10 cgpa for sit in interview exam.

KIIT Overview And The Reality

1.Like i did not apply so many colleges but i got selected in my state government college in it branch but i did not go there becuase there not so many companies comes for placement and internship and there not a much opportunity 2. REVIEW OF KIIT FROM A SECOND YEAR STUDENT

Apart from KIIT I also applied for PES university, VIT. I got confirmed admission in CSE branch of these colleges but these colleges are far away from my home. So distance is one of the main factors for not choosing other colleges instead of KIIT. For taking admission in KIIT one has to appear in the KIITEE examination which is conducted in CBT mode. After the exam result will be declared within a month. Then one has to sit for counselling for choosing the branch of their choice. The cutoff score is different for all the three phases. For example in 2023, a student securing 15 percentile in KIITEE got CSE core branch but in the second phase the cutoff for CSE core raised to 75 percentile....Read More
