Likes

Faculty are great .very experienced senior faculty are there
Campus is very beautiful it is full of greenery
Society for student activity there is 28 society

Dislikes

Crowd is very large. Lots of students are not interested in studies
Weather of bhubneswar is not good . humidity is very high
Exam is very hectic with no gaps and lots of pressure

Course Curriculum Overview

Kiit give us exposure it give us opportunity to meet large crowd with wide aspects. Basically the curriculum is good enough to prepare you for future. Course curriculum is good . Exam frequency is hectic mid semester occurs after 2 month of semester begining end semester is after 2 months of mid sem Difficulty is normal.

Class Size: 76Course Fees: INR 350000 per year

Internships Opportunities

There are various companies come for internship but all depends on your skills There is companies like high radius, jp Morgan Dell and many more. Yes they require project and something extra which help them to select you easily.

Placement Experience

Placement is good 3/5 . Campus placement happens various companies come to campus. Students are eligible from 6th semester with no backlog KIIT ensures 100 percentage but it is around 70 to 80 percent. My plans is to get hogh package job

Fees and Financial Aid

Basically tution fees is 175000 per semester for 2022 Kiitee student. Now it has increased. The total fees is around 5 lakhs per year which includes your personal expenditure as well KIIT provides scholarship to first 1000 students under Kiitee exam.

Campus Life

Campus life is good if you are extrovert. There is some event happening around the campus. But kiit fest is yhe biggest fest aur event. There is 25 departmental and 1 central library. Central library is very beautiful just like a big mall only in palce of clothes you have books. Classrooms are good and well equipped. Great opportunity for sports person many have played Olympic from kiit. 26 club is there

Hostel Facilities

Hostel range varies from ac to non ac . Also number of roommates Hostel are well equipped. Meal is good enough to eat. There is one time registration fees 15000 and then per semester fees of hostel. There is various pg around kiit

Hostel Fee: INR 80000 per year

Admission

75 percentage is minimum in class 12th requirement. Application form is available on KIIT website There is no application fees Basically there is 5 rounds form date varies from January to to march. Yes there is some reservation. Mostly there is 4 to 5 round in KIIT exam but the difficulty is same. Overall the process is smooth the only thing is that the admission cell doesn't reply quickly.

Faculties are very helpful they provide notes everyday what they teach
College students are friendly and affordable
They give many fests and cultural events

Dislikes

They discriminate between girls and boys always
Discriminate between locals and others mainly if you are from Bihar

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is now updated since it became a University, so its more relevant to industry now but still we have to do extra courses for coding. Exams happen every few months—2 internals and one end-sem. They are not very easy, you actually need to study to pass without backlogs

Likes

The infrastructure of each campus in the college is very pretty and it's a green campus
The classrooms are well equipped with WiFi, Smart-boards for digital education.
Also travelling from one campus to another has been made easier as buses and golf carts are provided to students

Dislikes

The crowd of students here is too much which feels too much chaotic and disturbing .
The hostel management here as they don't give importance to the major issues here.
The hostel mess food. The quality is degrading day by day

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college is good. This year 75% of the students are already placed with an average package of 8LPA . The highest package till now for this year is 22LPA. Many companies have visited for the placements and 100+ offers have been made. Companies like BNY, Infosys, Deloitte, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, Bain& Company, High Radius, TCS, EY, PWC and many more of them have visited the campus.

The college campus greenery and campus cleaning management are doing really very well that is the only good part but that doesn't matter much for your career.
⭐⭐There is nothing good to mention about this college after going through all the procedures from taking admission to degree,I regret and many of my friends also regretting taking admission into this college.⭐⭐

Dislikes

They have a good well maintained cricket ground but students are never allowed there only for commercial purposes and to attract new joinee.
Staff and management are very helpful and polite only till admission done.🥲.
Hostel food quality is extremely unhigenic, no one takes responsibility after many complaints also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum was very classical , too much theory oriented for placement point of view they will provide last 1 month or 2 months training for aptitude part rest for technical you have to study on your own.

Likes

Beautiful campus with lot's of space and with good computer labs
They conduct exam in very smoothly manner

Dislikes

Need to improve administrative building while submitting fees many students face problem
Lab session of some subjects are too long which is around 3 hrs which need to reduce for atleast 2 hrs

Placement Experience:

Placement opportunities in my college are good, with students generally becoming eligible for campus placements from the pre-final or final year, depending on the course and company criteria. The college has an active placement celll that supports students by Organizing training sessions, resume building and also mock interviews.

College hostel life

Likes

I like enhance my knowledge in computer and technology. I like to learn new ideas in google sheet and AI.
I like hiking and campaign in forest and mountain. And to go in long drive on bike.
Exploring new things which I don't know finding reason on natural phenomenon.

Dislikes

I dislike to follow people blindly. And doing as same
I dislike to worship god visit temple and any regional place.
I dislike to stay at home on vacation or holiday

Placement Experience:

After completion of 6 th semester candidates are eligible for campus selection. The highest you get around 20Lac per annum and minimum 5 Lac per annum. Around 30 % student get placed each year. Posco, sas motors, jindal, are coming company

My college is best

Likes

Things I like is to good faculty, garden.
VSSUT provides the best amenities and bathrooms.
Excluding hostel & other facilities are like good.

Dislikes

The water quality is not good at all from mess side.
The drainage system is not maintained well.
The surroundings are not clean and the guarda are strict.

Placement Experience:

Some say that the celllege has better placements, but that the salary is not very lucrative. Infosys, Tata Steel, IBM, Wipro, Cisco Systems, Larsen and Cognizant, Maruti Suzuki, Adani Group. My plans are to go to better iim for mba

Likes

The professor who taught in our class they are taught is best In teaching.
They provide you many opportunities to work upon on you.
The infrastructure of college is good and huge.

Dislikes

The campus is very vast, and you have to walk for every minute of work.
The are very serious about your study and what you are doing
The gate get closed if you get came late even it's 5-10 minute late.

Placement Experience:

It's good as many company come but the placement directly depend on your study and hard work of your 4 year and a pre placement also conduct in 3rd year where you can also get placed. For placement the student should secure 8-10 cgpa for sit in interview exam.

KIIT Overview And The Reality

1.Like i did not apply so many colleges but i got selected in my state government college in it branch but i did not go there becuase there not so many companies comes for placement and internship and there not a much opportunity 2. REVIEW OF KIIT FROM A SECOND YEAR STUDENT

Apart from KIIT I also applied for PES university, VIT. I got confirmed admission in CSE branch of these colleges but these colleges are far away from my home. So distance is one of the main factors for not choosing other colleges instead of KIIT. For taking admission in KIIT one has to appear in the KIITEE examination which is conducted in CBT mode. After the exam result will be declared within a month. Then one has to sit for counselling for choosing the branch of their choice. The cutoff score is different for all the three phases. For example in 2023, a student securing 15 percentile in KIITEE got CSE core branch but in the second phase the cutoff for CSE core raised to 75 percentile....Read More
