What Students Say

Likes

I LOVE THE CAMPUS AND THE ENVIRONMENT.
SPECIALLY I LOVED THE CENTRAL LIBRARY.
I LIKE THE CLASSES FACILITIES ALSO. FACULTIES ARE ALSO GOOD.

Dislikes

EXAMS AND ASSIGNMENTS ARE VERY REGULAR. NOT GIVEN MUCH TIME TOO STUDY.

Course Curriculum Overview

AS A CURRENT STUDENT OF KIIT , ITS REALLY WORTH PUTTING THE MONEY HERE AT THIS COLLEGE. GOOD QUALITY ACADEMICS COMBINED WITH POWERFULLY RESOURCED CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES . FACULTIES ARE TOO GOOD. THEY HAVE GREAT KNOWLEDGE ABOUT THE COURSE THEY ARE TEACHING AND ALSO FOR THE COURSE THEY ARE NOT.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 450000 per year

Internships Opportunities

I AM CURRENTLY IN 2ND YEAR . SO I HAVEN'T DONE ANY OF IT YET. BUT DURING SUMMER VACATIONS WE ARE GOING TO HAVE TRAINING COURSES WHICH WILL GIVE US RECOMMENDATION LETTERS FOR INTERNSHIPS. AND IN COMING YEARS WE WILL GET A LOT OF INTERNSHIPS.

Placement Experience

4.5

COLLEGE PROVIDES 100% PLACEMENT BUT OBVIOUSLY WE HAVE TO WORK HARD TO BE PLACED IN A GOOD COMPANY. WE CAN GET LITTLE JOBS LIKE NOT HIGHLY PAID FROM THE COMPANIES PROVIDED IN THE COLLEGE. NO SCOPE FOR NO CAMPUS PLACEMENT.

Fees and Financial Aid

THE PER YEAR FEES FOR BTECH IS 3.5 LAKHS. KIIT SCHOLARSHIP ARE FOR THE 10 CGPA HOLDERS IN SEMESTER EXAMINATIONS FOR 6 MONTHS. AND ALSO THOSE WHO SCORED UPTO 1000 RANK IN KIITEE AND ABOVE 8.5 CGPA GETS THE SCHOLARSHIP.

Campus Life

CAMPUS LIFE IS VERY GOOD. MANY EVENTS ARE ALSO DONE HERE WHICH MAKES US ENJOY OUR COLLEGE LIFE . THERE ARE MANY SOCIETIES ALSO WHICH WE CAN JOIN ACCORDING TO OUR INTEREST. CONTINUING WITH THE STUDIES WE CAN ALSO DO THESE THINGS WHICH ARE OUR SKILLS. AND WE HAVE A GREAT INFRASTRUCTURE IN KIIT. THE LIBRARY LOOKS SO BEAUTIFULL AND CLEAN THAT IT COMPELLS US TO STUDY.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

HOSTEL FACILITIES ARE ALSO GOOD . MANY TYPES OF ROOMS ARE AVAILABLE LIKE 2-BEDDED, 3-BEDDED, AC, NON-AC, PREMIUM HOSTELS THAT HAVE ATTATCHED WASHROOMS AND ACCORDINGLY ITS FEES ARE. MEAL IS PROVIDED 4 TIMES( BREAKFAST, LUNCH, SNACKS AND DINNER). ITS ALSO OKAYISH.

Hostel Fee: INR 50000 per year

Admission

ADMISSION PROCESS WAS THROUGH THE ENTRANCE EXAM WE HAVE GIVEN WHICH IS NAMED AS KIITEE(KIIT ENTRANCE EXAM). I HAVE GIVEN THE ENTRANCE EXAM DURING THE END OF COVID,SO THE EXAM WAS DONE ONLINE . THERE WAS MANY PHASES FOR THE EXAM IN WHICH WE HAVE TO REGISTER FOR ANY ONE PHASE. IF I CANNOT GET THE NEEDED PERCENTILE IN THE PHASE I GAVE , I CAN GIVE ANOTHER PHASE EXAM TO REACH THE CUT OFF. ELIGIBILITY TO GET CSE FROM ENTRANCE EXAM IS :1)10+2PASSED WITH MINIMUN 60% MARKS IN PHYSICS,CHEMISTRY AND METHEMATICS 2) MINIMUM 70 PERCENTILE IN KIIT ENTRANCE EXAM TO GET CSE. APPLICATION FORM ,FEES AND DATES ALL THINGS ARE AVAILABE IN THE KIIT OFFICIAL WEBSITE. ENTRANCE EXAM WAS NOT TOO EASY NOT TOO HARD . BUT ONE HAS TO WORK TO CRACK IT. MAINLY, 11TH - 12TH CONCEPTS ARE VERY IMPORTANT FOR THE EXAM.

Decent faculty and top tier placements, just follow the rules

Likes

I like the vibe of the canteen and greenery around my college

Dislikes

I don't like 75% attendance and the strictness of the faculty members

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is now updated since it became a University, so its more relevant to industry now but still we have to do extra courses for coding. Exams happen every few months—2 internals and one end-sem. They are not very easy, you actually need to study to pass without backlogs

The infrastructure of each campus in the college is very pretty and it's a green campus
The classrooms are well equipped with WiFi, Smart-boards for digital education.
Also travelling from one campus to another has been made easier as buses and golf carts are provided to students

Dislikes

The crowd of students here is too much which feels too much chaotic and disturbing .
The hostel management here as they don't give importance to the major issues here.
The hostel mess food. The quality is degrading day by day

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college is good. This year 75% of the students are already placed with an average package of 8LPA . The highest package till now for this year is 22LPA. Many companies have visited for the placements and 100+ offers have been made. Companies like BNY, Infosys, Deloitte, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, Bain& Company, High Radius, TCS, EY, PWC and many more of them have visited the campus.

DRIEMS UNIVERSITY review after 5 year of frustrating experience legacy will be continued ????....

Likes

The college campus greenery and campus cleaning management are doing really very well that is the only good part but that doesn't matter much for your career.
⭐⭐There is nothing good to mention about this college after going through all the procedures from taking admission to degree,I regret and many of my friends also regretting taking admission into this college.⭐⭐

Dislikes

They have a good well maintained cricket ground but students are never allowed there only for commercial purposes and to attract new joinee.
Staff and management are very helpful and polite only till admission done.🥲.
Hostel food quality is extremely unhigenic, no one takes responsibility after many complaints also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum was very classical , too much theory oriented for placement point of view they will provide last 1 month or 2 months training for aptitude part rest for technical you have to study on your own.

The admission process for KIIT University is simple. You have to register and give the KIITEE exam and based on your exam percentile and your 12th percentage you get selected. REVIEW OF KIIT FROM A SECOND YEAR STUDENT

Apart from KIIT I also applied for PES university, VIT. I got confirmed admission in CSE branch of these colleges but these colleges are far away from my home. So distance is one of the main factors for not choosing other colleges instead of KIIT. For taking admission in KIIT one has to appear in the KIITEE examination which is conducted in CBT mode. After the exam result will be declared within a month. Then one has to sit for counselling for choosing the branch of their choice. The cutoff score is different for all the three phases. For example in 2023, a student securing 15 percentile in KIITEE got CSE core branch but in the second phase the cutoff for CSE core raised to 75 percentile....Read More
