Thriving at kiit -Academic, Opportunities and foreign exposure

According to me, the things that influcend my desicions are the placement and interships opportunities also the is a high scope for higher studies in this as well as other frogein countries. Curriclum is I feel is quite updated but thier are also significant drawbacks . The exam difficult level is quite easy if you have properly studied for your 11th and 12 th standard you can 2 to 3 exam is span of 2-4 months. The facultity are fairly good exculding few.

After 6th semestet students are eligible for in campus placements. Microsoft, TCS, Amazon Flipkart Wipro HTC etc and many more. Highest package offered in 2023 was 64 lakhs and the average package was around 7-8 lakhs and almist 80-90 percent students got placement. After getting rhe degree I am planning to sir for Gate exam for futher opportunities.

The tution for us is 19200.But it has increased 200000. The university do provide scolarships for the studuntes who are under 1000 ranks in kiit entrance exam they get around 90000 scolarship per year . Their also a scholarship for students scoring high grades in each semester. Kiit also privodes sports scorlarship for student who have plated state level in any sports. I haven't taken any undertaken but I am looking forward to it.

Kiit usually organises 1 cultural fest which this year has been held in month of feburary on 14,15 and 16 feburary it hosted stars like jubin nautiyal and nuclea. Overall it was a fun experience In fest their are many events happening in different places in the campus like teasure hunting and many more. Mow, talikg about the library kiit has a large central libary of 4-5 floors with centralise ac it has wide variety of books avialable any student can go thier from the second semester. The classrooms ars quite good with smart boards, they are also have centralised ac benches and tables are also quite good their is also a projector avialble in evey classroom fir studing purpose. The campus offers a wide range of sports opportunities you can almost learn and play any sports you like form swimming to squash their are proffesional to teach, kiit also has a gym and olympic size swimming pool. Their are different clubs avialable to take .

The hostel facilities are obove average i would say. In the room that I have taken is a three beded ac room which 3 tables, 3 chairs, 3 lightbulbs and 3 fans , we also have 3 cupboarda which are fairly large sixe to keep your things. We have regular cleaning and dusting in our rooms. About the meal quality it is I would say beeter then some private colleges If you are a non- vegetarian you would enjoy the food here although it is liitle difficult for the vegetarian people, every friday we chicken briyani which is quite good we also get chicken and panner chilly on sundays dinnner. Registration process for hostel are simple once you get the appointment letter from the kkit you just have to click for hostel accommodation then you wiil get a date to report to campus so you can simply come and get your hostel room. Although ,I am not entierly sure about the private accomodation but there certainly rooms avialable near campus you you wish to take one. And rent is also in affordable range.

For eligiblity criteria the minimum required percentage in physic, chemitry maths should be 60% to be eligible for exam, for application form it is avialble on kiit official websitr and it is free so anyone can easily apply fir thier entrance exam. The application process starts around december and lasts till febuary or march, The exam are conducted around 4 to 6 times a year but a candidte can appear for maximum 2-3 attempts, now talking about the difficulty of the exam its level is same sa other private colleges and I would also say that they are easier then them if yout basic 11th-12th concepts are clear. I think the overall admission process are quite smmoth as the centers are avialble in almost every city.
