Course Curriculum Overview
The term is relevant to a degree but with the constantly changing world of technology, I'd say the course curriculum can be improved to let the students get more comfortable in the field of technology. The curriculum also has communication and other important classes which in a way prepare the student for real-world experiences. The course can be a little more tech-centric to let the studenyts get a deeper understanding of the technologies of the world. The exams are not that difficult if the students pay attention and dedicate a small amount of time everyday for preparation.
Placement Experience
The students become eligible for campus placement in the 6th semester. There are plenty of placement oppurtunities but the packages offered is solely dependant on the students caliber which is pretty general i guess. My plans are pretty general and normal just like any other student with a degree but I am looking into Entrepreneurship right now.
Fees and Financial Aid
The tuition fees increases by some percent every single year and the fees for CS and IT branches is a little more compared to the core branches. The students with 10 CGPA are given 10000 every year. Financial aids in the form of loans are available and provided by a number of banks.
Campus Life
The name of the annual socio-tech fest is called KIITFEST and is typically held in February. We had the honour of listening to Jubin Nautiyal during our star night. The campus life is plentiful for the people who desire it. Their was also a fest fees of ruppes 450 this time around.
Hostel Facilities
The room is good and the facilities are also good. The rules are a bit strivct for the students especially during festivals , but is still organized and very enjoyable. The food is not that amazing but then again there are niot many colleges that provide good mess food.
Admission
The admission process was smooth and easygoing for me. The eligibilty of the course was 60 percent in PCM(Physics- Chemistry- Maths). The application form, dates and every other information can be found on the official website of the College. There was no application fees for the exam. The exam,s are divided into two groups, the midsems and the endsems. The frequency is approximately 2 months between the subsequent semesters mid semester and end semester exams. The admission process was good and did not cause me much problems.
Other Applied Colleges
