There are plenty of clubs so it makes the college like pretty fun
The teachers are good, most are IITian or NITians.

Dislikes

some students are not so motivated about the prospect of their future
Their is a bit of a crowd here so it makes you less noticeable.
You have to select your groups very carefully if you want to achieve sucess in the college.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

the frequency of the exams is a little fast and there are no intervals between exams so it gets a bit hectic for the students. The curriculum is balanced according to the college needs but a little more can be integrated into the curriculum.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 384000 per year

Placement Experience

3.5

The students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester. The average package was told to be around * lpa. The placement isnt 100 percent but the percentage isnt low. Companies like Deloitte, Capegemini come here for placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

tuition fees is 20 lakhs over the course of 4 years and the rest of 5 lakhs is hostel and other fees. Financial aids are offered by banks but no major scholarship from the college itself. Although we are given 10k if we get 10CG or something.

Campus Life

3.5

There is a central library which is considered to be the biggest library in whole bhubaneshwar. We also have separate reading rooms in our respective hostels. THe tech and cultural fest is the KIITFEST.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

The room is clean and big enough and comfortable for the students. The rules of the hostel are a bit strict and we have end time for each day. The hostels are given to the first years , we dont have a say there, although that changes from second year in terms of selection of roommates.

Hostel Fee: INR 100000 per year

Admission

The eligibilty is 60 percent for Physics chemistry and maths . The application form is available on the official website and there was no application feeslast year, not very sure about this year. The exams can be conducted in an organised manner.

Decent faculty and top tier placements, just follow the rules

Likes

I like the vibe of the canteen and greenery around my college

Dislikes

I don't like 75% attendance and the strictness of the faculty members

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is now updated since it became a University, so its more relevant to industry now but still we have to do extra courses for coding. Exams happen every few months—2 internals and one end-sem. They are not very easy, you actually need to study to pass without backlogs

The classrooms are well equipped with WiFi, Smart-boards for digital education.
Also travelling from one campus to another has been made easier as buses and golf carts are provided to students

The crowd of students here is too much which feels too much chaotic and disturbing .
The hostel management here as they don't give importance to the major issues here.
The hostel mess food. The quality is degrading day by day

Likes

The college campus greenery and campus cleaning management are doing really very well that is the only good part but that doesn't matter much for your career.
⭐⭐There is nothing good to mention about this college after going through all the procedures from taking admission to degree,I regret and many of my friends also regretting taking admission into this college.⭐⭐

Dislikes

They have a good well maintained cricket ground but students are never allowed there only for commercial purposes and to attract new joinee.
Staff and management are very helpful and polite only till admission done.🥲.
Hostel food quality is extremely unhigenic, no one takes responsibility after many complaints also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum was very classical , too much theory oriented for placement point of view they will provide last 1 month or 2 months training for aptitude part rest for technical you have to study on your own.

I did not apply for other colleges. Before getting admission in KIIT I did hear good reviews about the college and placements here so I applied for the CSE course here. The admission process for KIIT University is simple. You have to register and give the KIITEE exam and based on your exam percentile and your 12th percentage you get selected. REVIEW OF KIIT FROM A SECOND YEAR STUDENT

Apart from KIIT I also applied for PES university, VIT. I got confirmed admission in CSE branch of these colleges but these colleges are far away from my home. So distance is one of the main factors for not choosing other colleges instead of KIIT. For taking admission in KIIT one has to appear in the KIITEE examination which is conducted in CBT mode. After the exam result will be declared within a month. Then one has to sit for counselling for choosing the branch of their choice. The cutoff score is different for all the three phases. For example in 2023, a student securing 15 percentile in KIITEE got CSE core branch but in the second phase the cutoff for CSE core raised to 75 percentile....Read More
