Course Curriculum Overview
The course i opted for is B.Tech i.e., Bachelor of Technology and the branch was Information Technology. I decided to choose this course as it offers scope in various emerging fields. This course connects us to the real world applications by its curriculum and teaching methods. The difficulty level of course is moderate.
Placement Experience
The placement of our college is average. Most of students in core branches such as Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics are placed at an average package of around 4 LPA, while the placement of students in technical brances like computer science and Information Technology is around 15-20 % this year.
Fees and Financial Aid
The average tution fee of the course is around 120000 rupees annually. This fee is submitted in the starting of every year till the completion of course. This includes tuition fee, service fees and other charges such as medical facilities.
Campus Life
The campus life is good overall. The college organises various fests such as kite-flying competion, diwali fair, etc. The library of college is vast enough, very spacious, comfortable seats and a vast variety of books to read. The classrooms are also well organized and full equiped with technology such as speakers, smart boards,etc. The only thing that lacks is the unavailability of AC in classrooms.
Admission
The admission process was based on counselling consisting of 4 rounds one by one in which we have to set a priority/preference list of colleges under AKTU and the specific branches. After the successful completion of last round of counselling we got the desired college and the branch based on our ranks in the entrance exam conducted by UPSEE that is Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination. It was a total of 360 marks examination and there was different cutoffs for different branches in specific colleges. The application form can be filled online through the official website of AKTU and the application fee was around under 500 while 20000 rupees was paid at the time of counselling to lock the seat. The facility of reservation was also provided for backward, schedules and physically disabled students.
