- Emphasis on overall development of individual, instead of only focusing on academic excellence, focus was also on sports excellence and provided a platform for the individuals to showcase their skills and talent.
- From the very first year, improvement of the soft skills till the last year to groom an individual to be industry ready in all aspects, wether it is soft skills or discipline and punctuality. This helps a lot in many future endeavours.
Dislikes
- A lack of annual fest and events throughout the year is one of the thing that everyone disliked.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum was decent and focused on overall development of an individual ranging form technical skills to the soft skills. A major emphasis being given to the soft skills improvement in the initial years of the college. Two exams taken per semester for internal assessment and one final exam conducted by the university at the end of semester.
Internships Opportunities
The intership offers are made in the 7th semester of the course. The students starts working from 8th semester. Many companies offered internship offers like commvault etc. The offers were made in every branch, from electronic to electrical and cs it and other core branches.
Placement Experience
Students become eligible from 6th semester. Various companies like Accenture, tech Mahindra, Infosys, hcl, commvault,grapecity, code store, etc visit the campus and make offers. This year the highest package is around 32 lpa and the avg package based on last year data was around 6.22 lpa. After getting degree plans are for higher studies
Fees and Financial Aid
The tution fee was comparatively low as compared to the other top level institutes which made AKGEC one of the best and affordable option for persuing graduation. The tution fees was around 1.2 lakh per year which gave a lot of facilities including the library access, decent labs and classrooms. Students can also avail scholarship offered and fee waiver option available.
Campus Life
The college conduct technical as well as non tech workshops for students. The classrooms are well equipped with the latest technology required for teaching. A wide range of Books are available in the library which can be accessed by anyone. A major emphasis in sports and extracurricular activities with various societies and clubs. A great record of the college in zonals, district level and State level sports tournaments.
Admission
Through AKTU entrance exam and then counseling process based on the scores and rank recieved in AKTU entrance exam. The difficulty level was easy to moderate. But now JEE Mains score and 12th percentage is also taken into consideration.
