What Students Say

Likes

Campus infrastructure here all things are well organized and in sufficient amount.
campus life is good at AKGEC .The coding culture is really good
Faculties are well educated and experienced .All have done phd from decent institution and have good experience of teaching.

Dislikes

College should focus more on internships and placements instead of attendance
should also have focus on cultural events and other activities
Attendance criteria is worst thing and exams are very often in every month

Course Curriculum Overview

Course is quite good .I opted for Information technology .We have labs for practicals for gaining for knowledge in our initial stage of college. Teachers are very interactive and supportive as well but there is a scope of improvement .

Class Size: 66Course Fees: INR 500000 per year

Internships Opportunities

To be very frank here internship opportunities are very hard to get and very less as compared to the requirements of the strength . Here internship companies are very less as the college didn't prvide fro holidays during outing period as heard from seniors and you won't be allowed to skip the exams.

Placement Experience

In my college student is eligible for placements if he has no previous backlogs . Some companies like TCS, BYJUS,HCL etc. The college has average package of around 5lacs. the student become eligible for placement from 7th semester onwars

Fees and Financial Aid

course fees is Rs140456 per year class size is of 66 to 70 course completion would cost approximately 6 lacs including tution fees , registration fees and other compulsory charges.Scholoarship is being provided by government based on document verification.

Campus Life

4.5

Campus life is awesome at AKGEC. Sadly there are no fests in AKGEC . But we have all sorts of groups and clubs in AKGEC . There are a lot os socities , Tech society being my favourite one . We have different clubs and society as well as sports teams which engage with students to perform at different level and also at zonal level.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Hostel rooms have one bed for single seater and three beds for triple seater. Hosetl provides wifi in each rooms .Hostel food quality is moderate . If one wants to get hostel then need to fill the hostel accomodation form and its available on first come get basics .

Hostel Fee: INR 600000 per year

Admission

anyone who has completed class 12th with pcm can opt for b.tech in akgec .Admission is based on AKTU counselling for which you have to give the JEE entrance exam. Reservation is given in counselling and it varies from year to year so no specific data

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

What I See at SRM Ghaziabad

Likes

I really appreciated the college clubs and hackathons.
There are variety of events throughout the semester, something to always keep you on your feet.
Some of the faculties are really really experienced and have a unique approach that captures the attention of all the students.

Dislikes

Not many hotspots around campus to hang out after classes.
The infrastructure of the hostel can be improved a lot.
Food in mess is not great, the menu is not very diverse. Everything has aloo.

Placement Experience:

Placements are actually impressive with our college having the highest placement rate among others in the region. We usually achieve ~90% placement. We get opportunities from many large groups, such as Infosys, TCS, JPMC, BNY, Logitech, etc etc The list goes on. The highest package that I saw was of around 1Cr from a company I don't remember their name, but it was based out of SF and was a really great one. Average placement we see is around 12-20LPA packages.

The campus has all basic facilities from food to stationary.

The food may sometimes be not very good.
The campus has less places to spend some free time other than some spots.
Due to small academic hall places may look too crowded.

Placement Experience:

The placements in the college is really one of the the factors convincing everyone to take admission in SRM ,average package from the college is of around 10,00,000 which is really a very good amount in todays stresfull market.

The students could come through counselling or Cbse 12th percentage i.e management, counselling is done on JEE scores and 12th percentage should be more than 75-80% in PCM for unreserved prolly...Read More

Inside AKGEC Life

1) I had applied for colleges like jss noida,gl bajaj , kiet , akgec through UPTAC counselling for those who gave JEE Exam. i preferred this college because after reading reviews about it ,consulting senior students. 2) I could get this college based on my rank . I could not make it to other colleges because of their high cutoff for the CSE branch. 3) admission process includes direct admission where students are admiitted based on 10th,12th score and branches are alloted based on their score, 2nd is through the uptac counselling for students who want to get admission through JEE Score. overall admission experience was good....Read More

so bascially i didn't choose this college . i did mistake in my uptac counselling and get this college but when i studied here and seen all the aktu colleges i prefer this is good because it ranked 3 in up colleges .the college is ranked 3 in whole up and its naac A++ so yes its a great college so to get admission in akgec there are two ways by 10+2 percentage marks or by uptac counselling you have to fill your choices in uptac counselling so fill it very carefully without any mistake so the overall to get any cs/it branch your jee percentile should be above 88 and below that you can get any other core branches....Read More
