The admission process began with the form filling on the website, with all the necessary details, followed by an entrance examination termed as KIITEE. The exam result contained rank along with the percentile, it conducted entrance exams in 3 phases. In some areas the examination center was not so good, like unavailibility of proper electrical equipments like AC and all. The application details can be found on the official website, with all the information about the exam, reservations were also available. The exams were conducted frequently, after an interval of 3 weeks approximately, the level of difficulty was normal, not so easy not too hard as well. NCERT is enough to cover for the exam, all subjects (PCM). According to me, the examination centers should be improved. Rest all was fine.

I would rate 3/5 for the course curriculam in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness. I chose this course to study computer science, but in the first year they teach Physics, Bio, Electrical, Electronics and many more subjects, as a learner I learnt many new things, but when it came to computer science their teaching skills are not apt for the students (generally speaking) as there are students who are learning computer science for the first time, according to me that should be taught in a more elaborated way. The exams are held twice a semester, one mid semester and the other end semester examination. There are quizez and assignments which are given regularly, for continuous evaluation. Also there are presentations in some subjects.

There is one of the major internship opportunity provider in this colleg, it is the HIGH RADIUS company, they offer internship and also PPO, the students can work there for 2 years and then they will have to look for jobs in other companies, this I have heard from seniors. The internship opportunities open from 3rd year onwards. As a fresher, I dont have much idea about the stipend and projects.

The fee amount is large, some students take loans to pay it, but most of the students who come here are from well to do families and can pay easily, the tuition fee is 1,92,000 INR for a semester, the mess charges are 22,500 INR, also the university provides a laptop, for which one has to give 75000 INR, but this wont be asked in addition, it is asked when one does the seat booking process after one has successfully passed the examination, this is the registration fee, this very amount is used to provide the laptop. For the first time one has to give 15000 INR extra to register for hostels, but that is only one time. Coming to the hostel fee, it depends on the type of room one has chosen. The scholarship is for those whose rank is 1000 and below in the KIITEE examination. By now I haven't got any campus employementm as I am in first year, but there are opportunities in coming future.

One of the greatest event of KIIT is the KIITFEST. It was held last in the month of February in 2024. It was a great success, with so much fun and acitivities to involve in and participate, it was open for students of other colleges as well, with a small amount of fee. The university has its Central Library which is the most beatiful building in this whole university, it has a great infrastructure with a large number of books. There are 5 floors in it, each floor covers the branches of the university, like the ground floor is for CSE and kids section, the first floor is for Electrcial and Electronics student, etc. All the classrooms are equiped with smart boards, fully working ACs and fans, the classrooms are very much good. KIIT is famous for it's contribution in sports, they train students very hard who want to build their career in sports, there are all kinds of sports trainer here, both for boys and girls. There are many societies in KIIT, which is the most fascinating part of it.

The hostel is good, the rooms are well maintained and any problems faced by boarders are looked carefully and resolved, there is always security at the entrances, no outsiders are allowed in the hostel. The menu is good but the meal is not that good, as other colleges, mess food is not better here as well, on some special occassions there are speacial meals cooked which are very delicious, also the meal is not worse everyday, there are some days for which we wait to have the meals, but yes not everyday the meal's that appreciable. The registration process of hostel is done along with form filling for the university at the time of admission, the hostels have three types of room services, 3 seater non AC, 3 seater AC (premium and normal) and 2 seater AC(premium only). All have different prices with the former being the most cheap. The rooms and washrooms are cleaned and maintained daily. I dont have any ideas of PGs and all as I am a hostel boarder.
