Remarks

College management is not supportive you have to roam a lot to get the work done these experiences doesn't matter as we visit management only during fee payment and that is only once a year so little patience you can handle things indeed a very good colle

Entrance Preview

Karnataka Common Entrance Test (K-CET), First College of Karnataka, Sir M. Visvesvaraya is the founder, 100% placements in core and IT courses, City centre campus.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

I took up BE Civil engineering and course goes to deep and makes you learn even the oldest drafting features to the newest ones. Very useful for taking up GATE exams as most of the syllabus is covered in the curriculum making it easy to crack gate. Drawing subjects are in all semesters thus making you confident and through in Civil Engineering Detailing and Dimensions. Syllabus is very vast compared to VTU syllabus and knowledgeable too.

Internships Opportunities

Nope it doesn't provide internship in plant training etc as holidays between each semester are not more than 15 days.

Placement Experience

4.5

Placements are all governed by students themselves every branch from all final year students choose couple of coordinators for placement works who put effort for the placements and get students placed. Till date UVCE has been recording 100% in IT and little less of about 60% in Core branches.

College Events

4.5

Fests are not so great as other private colleges but would be enjoyable UVCE celebrates Milagro, Fiesta and few other technical fests but Milagro and Fiesta are grandly celebrated campus life is good and fests and all are just to relax from your daily routine fests are also sometimes contribute greatly but depends on the funds we cater from university.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees is the most cheapest and i promise you would finish your engineering lesser than your PUC fees fees would be standard CET seat fees plus some amount lesser than 10000 as college development and other charges such as internet etc fees i bet no college in blore offers such a less cost.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships are offered but most of the time it goes unnoticed due to no proper information loan and all is not given by college.

Campus Life

4.5

Campus life is very good, memorable and feels like your own place as no major restrictions college is centrally placed making you reach any place without much travelling. Labs are all great and sports a huge ground for playing but no support from college in sports and all.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostel is not so great as it is free and is offered to all out station students mess food is great for Civil as it is in different campus then UVCE main campus mess food would 've variety of vegetarian bfast, south indian meals in lunch and Dinner is norm

Alumni/Alumna

Yes alumni association is working efficiently in college and has been a great help alumni of UVCE can be found in all verticals of the market and are very helpful for placements and sponsors.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is difficult and tough at all semesters well preparation of the syllabus can yield you the fruit, else you ll 've to settle with what you have earned normally exams test your knowledge but UVCE it tests you to the fullest exams are also ann

Faculty

4

Faculty of the college is very strict and classes are conducted strictly without any lapses and it cannot be taken lightly as it is a government college no fines no compensation if falling short in academic attendance you will be made to repeat the year s

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is a mix of both Computer Science and AIML which is increasingly relevant in today's world. Second year: Subjects like Mathematics for AIML, Data Structures, Stats for Data Science, Computer Networks, Third year: DBMS, ANN, ML operations Some other elevtives are also available and courses like Universal Human Values, POME, EIPR etc. Honestly, POME, EIPR, UHV should have less course credits and probably MCQ type exams (like IC and Yoga in first year). Curriculum is good and updating for applications helped along with projects. Exams are generally once in a month, 1.5 - 2 units for each subject each exam. Lab exams at the very end before CIE marks finalization. Then 2 weeks gap for Lab SEE, then 1 week gap and actual SEE's.

Placement Experience:

KSIT has an average placement rate of 70%-85% depending on the branch . CSE,ISE and ECE branches have higher placements while mechanical and civil have fewer opportunities in IT sector . Average package is about 4-6LPA . KSIT attracts many IT based recruitiers with some core companies for non -IT branches . It also provides pre-placement training, coding boot cams, aptitude tests and soft skills development . Alumni network is moderate, but students need off-campus efforts for high paying jobs
