What Students Say

Likes

The campus is large and we'll maintained
Faculties are sincere, honest and helpful.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

the college is well-regarded, particularly for its academic offerings and faculty. However, there seems to be room for improvement in areas like placements and infrastructure . curriculum is good, just there is one problem with it that , in odd semester there is enough time while in even semester there is not enough time and subjects increase too which results in students failing the subjects

Class Size: 67Course Fees: INR 40000 per year

Placement Experience

GCE Keonjhar boasts a placement rate of 60%, with top recruiters like Infosys, Accenture, and Vedanta. The median salary for placed graduates is ?4 LPA. For those without campus placement, the college’s strong industry ties and rigorous curriculum ensure high employability post-graduation

Fees and Financial Aid

GCE Keonjhar offers a B.Tech program at ?140,000 with scholarships like National, Post-matric, and PRAGATI available. Financial aid details are in the Accounts section. Campus placements are robust, with companies like Accenture and Essel Mining recruiting, ensuring employment opportunities for graduates.

Campus Life

2.5

Campus life at GCE Keonjhar is dynamic, with a strong sense of community. Students engage in various clubs, fostering creativity and leadership. The infrastructure supports a conducive learning environment, while events and cultural programs enhance the social experience, making it a memorable journey for every student.

Admission

The admission to GCE Keonjhar involves the OJEE for eligibility, with a detailed application process online. Cut-offs vary, with some high for popular streams. A less favored aspect is the lengthy wait and multiple steps during counselling and seat allotment, which can be stressful for applicants.

Faculty

The faculties are all researchers that provide good quality of knowledge that is required for us . Most faculties have done PHD or are continuing PhD ... Faculties have a nice personality so that students are not afraid to approach them . Faculties are very humble.

Decent faculty and top tier placements, just follow the rules

Likes

I like the vibe of the canteen and greenery around my college

Dislikes

I don't like 75% attendance and the strictness of the faculty members

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is now updated since it became a University, so its more relevant to industry now but still we have to do extra courses for coding. Exams happen every few months—2 internals and one end-sem. They are not very easy, you actually need to study to pass without backlogs

Likes

The infrastructure of each campus in the college is very pretty and it's a green campus
The classrooms are well equipped with WiFi, Smart-boards for digital education.
Also travelling from one campus to another has been made easier as buses and golf carts are provided to students

Dislikes

The crowd of students here is too much which feels too much chaotic and disturbing .
The hostel management here as they don't give importance to the major issues here.
The hostel mess food. The quality is degrading day by day

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college is good. This year 75% of the students are already placed with an average package of 8LPA . The highest package till now for this year is 22LPA. Many companies have visited for the placements and 100+ offers have been made. Companies like BNY, Infosys, Deloitte, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, Bain& Company, High Radius, TCS, EY, PWC and many more of them have visited the campus.

DRIEMS UNIVERSITY review after 5 year of frustrating experience legacy will be continued ????....

Likes

The college campus greenery and campus cleaning management are doing really very well that is the only good part but that doesn't matter much for your career.
⭐⭐There is nothing good to mention about this college after going through all the procedures from taking admission to degree,I regret and many of my friends also regretting taking admission into this college.⭐⭐

Dislikes

They have a good well maintained cricket ground but students are never allowed there only for commercial purposes and to attract new joinee.
Staff and management are very helpful and polite only till admission done.🥲.
Hostel food quality is extremely unhigenic, no one takes responsibility after many complaints also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum was very classical , too much theory oriented for placement point of view they will provide last 1 month or 2 months training for aptitude part rest for technical you have to study on your own.
