The academic pressure sometimes lead to overwhelming, leading to stress
Managing finances, including tuition fees, living expenses and other costs for stationaries and all.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is typically designed to be relevant to the field of architecture. Factors such as studio projects, case studies and use of sustainable practices prepares students for real world applications through site visits and internships.

Class Size: 150Course Fees: INR 144000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Students can intern at a variety of companies, firms urban planning agencies, construction companies and government organisations. The outcomes of internship vary, but include final report I don't have much information about the projects as I'm in first year only and haven't done any internship yet.

Fees and Financial Aid

The total cost is very high approx 10 -12 lakhs The rate regularly increases and hostel fees is also fees. Also has very high mess fees of 40,000 per semester. I didn't have much information about the scholarships.

Campus Life

Spa hosts annual festivals such spandan, spakriti, mudra, strokes, Zephyr The Library at spa offers a range of books, journals, and digital resources. The classrooms are well equipped with modern facilities with large tables, stools, acs, Provides extra curricular activities.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facilities are very basic as it has a room which has to be shared by three students at a time which has 3 beds but only 2 almirahs and a table only. Mess menu is okay but they provide very oily food Registration process is by coming to hostel warden only after admission. Pgs are in kotla, and Lakshmi nagar they are very close to it

Hostel Fee: INR 60000 per year

Admission

Eligibility is by clearing jee Main paper 2A Forms can be find at the website jeemain.nta.nic.in It provides benifits for school, st, and OBC castes . Ensure transparency in selection and cutoff marks for all students.

Faculty

A lower faculty to student ratio translates better access to faculty members for guidance and support.Spa faculties hold advanced degrees in architecture.their teaching approach can vary with some focusing more on theories.

Likes

girls to boys ratio in every year is nearly 50-50. A 50-50 gender ratio creates balance, inclusivity, and fairness.
professors are very friendly, and always helps in the projects personally.
all the faculty of well qualified in there respective fields.

Dislikes

the building's infrastructure can be improved
there is no air condition in the class rooms
the department closes at 5:30pm, students can't work there after 5:30pm

Course Curriculum Overview:

the curriculum focuses on real world design problems, critical thinking and other software skills that are going to be useful in the professional field. but in this era of artificial intelligence, there is no academic upskilling with AI right now. professors are working on incorporating AI with the curriculum and it will soon be incorporated.

College life of a first year

Likes

The enviornment around the whole campus is built in a very nature friendly way. students can interact with various activities around the campus.
The Campus itself is built in a ver modern way, which helps students to imagine in a creative way.
As it is the main campus for the course of Architecture. alot of events are organised inside the campus which helps the students to interact with there seniors.

Dislikes

The notices having important information are often sanctioned late.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In the forst year the faculty will make you do completely dumb and irrelevant stuff which is mostly not related to the real life. You will surely feel like and think in a way that why you are doing all this, but slowly the curriculum will get difficult and would have real world applications. In the starting you should improve your drafting and most importantly you should procastinate your work and should learn the importance of time management.

The faculty is very experienced and thorough with the curriculum. The teaching methods are very good. The exams are conducted annually with sessional tests in between. Since architecture is not so easy course, it comes with its challenges but the student can tackle them with the help of faculty.

There are various reasons for which I choosed architecture as a course and the most important is it makes us explore our imagination and creativity and adds technical knowledge to support our creativity to bring it in real life. The Faculty - student ratio is 1:30, all the teachers are phd holders.

I chose the course because of my passion for buildings, the faculty is very dedicated and teacehrs put in alot of hard work with the students. The gender ratio is impressively 1:1. The professors are from good colleges themselves and the teaching methodology is that of an experienced person in the feild. Exams take place annually, semester marking is done on the basis of internal assisment.

Because I wanted to do something creative mixed with technology I chose architecture. The faculty-student ratio was perfect and the faculty taught really well. The teaching method in architecture is more than textbooks. It's much more practical.

I took AIEEE (2nd paper) for this course i opt for this college because it is the best college for arcitecture in india it ranks 1st in this stream.

I was preparing for architecture and had made it to reputed colleges like CEPT, NITs, JMI, and CET. Paralley i got B.Plan at SPA too. Out of curiosity, i had went through the syllabus and it captivated me more than what i was preparing for. Fore getting into SPA, you'll have to give JEE-II which will be conducted alongside JEE. SPA DELHI REVIEW

Overall, there are lots of negative remarks on SPA DELHI. They do not even provide basic facilities for the fees they take. Even what little facilities that exists are very poorly maintained. The lifts does not work more often than not, the coolers for drinking water are outdated and filters unchanged, fire extinguishers outdated, poor parking facilities, no grounds for sports related activities, no air conditioners in the classroom for the unbearable Delhi heat, very poor provision of funds, non-existent placement cells, and the lists goes on....Read More
