Remarks
From my point of view, Jecrc is good enough to give you a good college life as well as get you placement in the good companies like MIND TREE rest of it depends solely upon you if you wanna pursue your goal you can do it from JECRC easily.
Course Curriculum Overview
The syllabus followed in JECRC is decided by RTU(Rajasthan Technical University)and is same for all RTU affiliated colleges. It's quite less professional and real-life problems cannot actually match up with course outcomes but some of the subjects are really interesting and actually useful but none are related to the research field. Semester exams occur twice a year(at the end of each semester) and we have to pay separately for it
Placement Experience
Placement is the best part of Jecrc, Jecrc has maintained its reputation when it comes to placement, this year 2018 almost everyone got placed more than 90% of the student were placed from CSE, IT and Mechanical in other branches the ratio is much less.
College Events
Throughout the year many events, seminar, and workshop are held in the campus, the main event of every year is renaissance which is held in March every year, renaissance is really awesome, it's duration is about 3 to 4 days,it is a combination of technical, non-technical and cultural events and organized by the students. It's the best part of the year where you can enjoy a lot.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees are the also a great part of the JECRC, being affiliated to Rajasthan technical university the same fees structure is used here. The fees are low as compared to another engineering college only 80K per annum, also, you get discount of 10-15% if you pay fees earlier, and there are a scholarship available too i.e. - TFWS and the selection criterion is your JEE score
Fees and Financial Aid
I was lucky enough to get a scholarship as it helps financially my family, I have Tuition Fees wavier Scheme scholarship based on my Mains score and income criterion(>6 Lakhs), I have to pay only 21K per anum as college fee, really great it is.
Campus Life
The gender ratio is not appropriate in JECRC, I think it is less than 1/4, that's bad for many of the boys having a fantasy in their mind about college life, although you get adapted to it very quickly as the environment is really friendly in college. The extracurricular activity and sports are really worst.No proper facilities are provided to the students and they have to do everything on their own.
Alumni/Alumna
Jecrc have a good enough list for alumni and most of them are at good post i.e. -IPS, IAS etc. But the connection between the student and alumni is very weak we rarely get to meet any of them, cause they are only invited rarely but the seniors are really awesome and helpful technically as well as non-technically.
Admission
I got admission in JECRC through REAP which works through JEE MAIN marks for Rajasthan candidates and for non-residents of Rajasthan candidates also. If seats remain vacant you can get the direct admission also but generally, CSE and IT branch are not open for direct admissions. I got admission in 2017 after applying in REAP and college allotments.
Faculty
The faculty of our college are really good in terms of knowledge and also help us and guide us to the real market but a few of them are really bad for their field and lazy too. Although the faculty teaches very less due to regular bunks and their busy schedule they are much more accountable and reliable.
