Review of Maharashtra National Law University, Aurangabad

The course in my personal opinion is very extensive in nature and covers all the aspects of the legal fraternity. Some subjects like business communication and sociology helps you developing interpersonal relations and build your communication skills. The law subjects also have real world application and it helps in the proffesional lifes as a law student. The difficulty level of the exams and the whole course curriculum is par with the top national law universities.

The fee structure comprises of all the various expenses which sums up to 2.84 Lacs a year. The mess fees is another 33 thousand which makes an individual's spending for the whole year to be 3.17 Lacs. The fee structure is subjected to the inflation . The institutions does provides scholarships for the non-generals and has a very extensive policy for it.

We just celebrated our first cultural event Vivriti and it was a grand success. The national moots,national youth parliaments and client counselling comptetions are a major part of the even semesters and this helps in a very rich social environment for everyone. There are various centres which can be joined by the students according to their interests which helps them developing individually. For sports Intra college sports fest is oraganized every semester which gives everyone a platform to showcase their talent in the sports field and helps creating a competitive environment amongst the peers and it helps them in bonding with each other to a great extent. Overall the social environment of the institution is great and can help in character builiding of an individual.

Hostels are very spacious and well furnished.There is double occupancy for all the students and every basic facility is provided by the college administration. The meal quality is above average and there are as such no issues reagarding the mess . The registration process for the hostel is pretty simple and can be completed while the admission process.

The entrance exam for the eligibility is the exam known as CLAT. Reservation benefits are surely there and the expected cutoff for this college is aroung AIR 2800 in CLAT. The admission process is pretty simple and the newbies which come for admission is given aid at every step by the college administration.

The batch size is only of 60 which helps in not affecting the interaction and communication of the faculty with the students.The faculties does have good experiences like they taught in top national law universities previously, although their approach towards teaching is not very great. They are easily approchable and the interaction is on the daily basis.
