Course Curriculum Overview

5

In psychology, so far we learned about Positive Psychology Educational psychology Foundation of psychology Foundation of behavior Child development Rehabilitation psychology Environmental psychology Developmental psychology Biopsychology And many more yet to come All these are valid in todays field and equips you with the necessary skill set to excell in the field of psychology

Internships Opportunities

5

Unfortunately for psychology department We have to find our own internship but the faculty members are very helpful and will guide us to find internships As of now I have completed 2 internship 1 online internship at FORTIS HOSPITAL and 1 offline internship at BUBBLES SCHOOL FOR AUTISM Both of the internship equipped me with the skills such as critical thinking , leadership, soft skills which are very important in todays job field

Placement Experience

1.5

In psychology there are no placements available as of now However if your course is BBA BCA or any other management course placements are available My plans for after the course is to take up masters followed by a PHD

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure can be seen in the college website www.Kristujaynti.com Scholarships are available for people from low income families which can be accessible through the college management. As for the roles I have undertaken as of now will be of volunteer work for various fest in campus

Campus Life

5

Holistic development is emphasized in the college with various fest like Kaladarpan Manodarhsan College day Kalajoythi Nirtyanjali MUN And various other fear that will act as a catalyst for various skill development

Hostel Facilities

3.5

The College provides hostel for both males and females The hostel which I was staying was called ST CHAVARA the fees was 60000 which was paid semester vise The curfew for the hostel was 9pm and mess food was also available which was an extra 4500 for 3 meals a day( breakfast, lunch, dinner) The meals consisted of mainly South Indian cuisine Rice chicken and vegetables all were included However the taste of the food was not up to the mark. Registration process of the hostel wa easy and it was affordable but you can find cheaper places to stay like PG or apartment I would suggest to stay in a pg or hostel for a year get used to the city and the move to an apartment with friends

Admission

The admission process was smooth and hassle free We had an online interview where they asked questions based on the course you took during your 11th and 12th grade For example: me being a science student they had asked questions related to biology chemistry and physics which were basic questions I believe it all depends on how you present yourself to the interviewer, they will ask you to introduce yourself and that's where you must stand out among the various other candidates that are applying Focus on building a good introduction and have basic knowledge about the course you are currently studying and the course you want to persue

Faculty

5

The teaching staff is highly experienced and have a positive student to teacher ratio They are highly qualified especially in the psychology department with many of them being PHD holders and have a working experience of 12plus years All of them are approachable almost like a close friend whilst maintaining the student teacher relationship

Course Curriculum Overview:

The BA English curriculum at the Central University of Karnataka is comprehensive and academically relevant. The course covers British Literature, American Literature, Indian Writing in English, Literary Theory, Linguistics, and Cultural Studies, providing students with a strong foundation in language and literature. The interdisciplinary approach under NEP and the availability of electives were among the factors that influenced my decision to choose this course.

Placement Experience:

The university does have a placement team which faculy and student led. Studnets become eligible for placements towards the end of their fourth year - last semeter. Approximately 100-150 NGO's come to campus for recruiting. The university does not promote private firms for placement but students can apply indivitually. The average pay is 20 Lakh per year. Many students after undergraduation opt for higher studies, so is my plan. But most of the master's students opt for placement and 98% - 99% get placed into NGO in top positions. I plan to pursure a masters degree after my undergraduation, preferably in economics.

Course Curriculum Overview:

We get to learn many things not because of just the syllabus and courses but also because of the national and international conferences that are held in our college. People from other colleges come in and share their knowledge with us. This experience is really good for us students. We even have expert lectures from our alumnis who give us advice on what all is required in the world outside college to earn. All these are really helpful.
