Likes

Cultural Fest , Sports event held annually.
Faculty are good , knowledgeable and helpful.
labs are more organized and well maintained

Dislikes

average age of teachers is bit high and this is not good
campus size is too small and congested in comparison to nearby colleges
hostel mess food is just average and quality is low

Course Curriculum Overview

Btech is a four year undergraduate engineering degree program in India it is 1 of the most popular professional degrees pursued by science students after class 12 the program equates students with theoretical and practical knowledge required to succeed in various engineering field. This Course teaches me the latest technologies and its new trends . Area of improvment is so many but the first i will like to change is its inclusion of subject in semesters . The frequency and timing of exams is more regular but its thoery paper not practical one

Placement Experience

Placement: Talking about the placement of this institute , it is quite decent . The average is 6L .Many comapnies visit on campus including TCS,Wipro,Amazon ,Byjus and many more . Also off campus is secured by the students

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fee is 40k approx per sem and if you have opted for hostel then you have to pay 30k extra for per sem Scholarships: If you are from West Bengal then you will get a scholarships option and if you are from Bihar , then you will get a loans facility on low interest

Campus Life

The overall expierence is quite awesome. There is a Sports Fest annually Known as ATHLEKA which is quite interesting and also a cultural fest organised by college helds annually . There are many clubs in the college on coding , robotics,sports , enterprenurship as well.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is quite decent .The rooms consist of a table ,chair and a bed with almirah . A room consist of two students with facilities above separately. it contains a badminton court for sports activity inside hostel. Although mess food is little concering but its average not so bad.

Hostel Fee: INR 60000 per year

Admission

The admission process was smooth . As i was coming from WBJEE councelling so i just came after college allocation and my admission process starts after visiting the campus . My rank was 30k so i got the college very easily , anyone with 50k and lower can choose this college while councelling process.

Faculty to student ratio is 40:01 Faculty credentials is mca and mtech I personally interact regularly for my doubts and to gain more knowledge . Teachers are more helpful than usual they also call interested students to cabin for more clarity for doubts

BCREC a underrated college

Placement Experience:

The college average placement are 6 lakh per annum and in my branch out of 64 student only 30 God placement but the mistake is of the students because many companies are visiting our colleges but they couldn't find the talent required for the skilled person they required

Placement Experience:

Well as far as mh knowledge students get to placements from 6th semester itself . Well there are placement classes from 3rd semester itself . The placement track record of the college is quite good with most year about 90% gets placed with good companies comming like Deloitte, EY GDS , JP MORGAN, Oracle , offering high amount of placement offers like around 20+ lpa . Well I am not sure about my plans maybe if the palacement is good I'll take it or will be preparing for GATE (Whose courses are also provided from college .)

GOOD College at low fees.

Placement Experience:

Placement of my college are quite good with a avg package of 6 to 7 lpa and higest package of 45 lpa and this year the higest package is 75 lpa. The companies visited in my college are infosys, Capgemini,tcs,wipro, Mindtree,IBM, sometimes amazon also.The placement rate of the college is 85 to 95%.

Placement Experience:

1)From 6th semester students become eligible for campus placement. 2) Cognizant , TCS(most fav), Wipro, startups, IBM visit for recruitment . 3)In 2023 highest was 45lpa by amazon average is 4.5lpa. 4)From our Hostel each and every senior get placed. some with good package like tcs digital, even off campus (2025). 5)My plan is to take a job and enter in IT firm to learn and teach new technolgies through my YOUTUBE.

The college is good for academics but there is no campus life.

Placement Experience:

The placements are average in the college. From 7th semester the students are eligible for placements. About 60% students get placed in the college. The average package of our college is 3-4 lakhs per annum and the highest package last year was around 13 lakhs per annum. I will choose to do M.tech after passing out of the college.

BCET Durgapur.Good campus but bad faculty and placement opportunities.

I say this earlier. First of all my JEE rank was little bit low, so I can't get any govt college. And at that time the CSE fees in almost every private college is arround 4 lakhs. But they asked high donation. Which was not affordable by my family. So I choose this college. Also I hear all private colleges are same.we have to do everything by ourselves. Faculties don't help us properly. And for admission you have to give WB JEE entrance exam. Other than that nothing. Also you can have a direct admission....Read More
