What Students Say

Likes

I love the campus infrastructure especially the Academic building and the Food Court area it's completely based on international standards

Dislikes

This University has a lot of local influence. May that be with the student admission or the employee it's just too locally dominated
It's the drug culture. I mean I understand that it's quite normal in every college of india these days but ya the level of drugs and intoxicants

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is good I mean it prepares us right from the basics looking at the fact that not everyone has had a humanities background before joining the university. it's designed well to suit everyone and bring us all to a similar level of understanding of the subject matter. Subjects like foreign policy analysis do make up for the relevance with current times so altogether it's a good comprehension

Class Size: 35Course Fees: INR 750000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

We do have an office for career services on campus. it helps us look for internships and learn the ways of an employee however it's not that efficient in achieving what it aims. The internships we end up on through this office are not that interesting. And yes most of them are always unpaid so that is another backlog

Campus Life

Jindal is known for it's social life. a full package of college life right from cultural fests like Biswamil to sports fests like Magnus. Jindal is also home to numerous societies like the AWS.or raqs and whatnot. speaking of the infrastructure as I mentioned before it's way better than what I have seen before. The classrooms the library the student hangouts it's all just too luxurious with recliners and couches everywhere

Hostel Facilities

The hostels are better. it has good heating and ventilation. I mean livable it's mostly a three sharing accommodation. Talking about the food they have a really diverse menu and it changes completely on a daily basis. the food festival we have at the dining halls is the real fun. We get to experience every kind of cuisine from around the world during this time

Hostel Fee: INR 300000 per year

Admission

The admission process was an experience. I did my Cambridge A levels. so it was supposed to be easy for me. however, I had to go through a common enterance test JSAT. quite difficult for me as it included mathematics. I survived though..the next we had was an interview it was kinda smooth however I hated the time it took for them to come back with the results. I directly got my offer letter

Faculty

4.5

The faculty is beautiful we have professors with really great qualifications. We have ex-ambassadors and TV anchors known journalists teaching us on a daily basis. It's a really great experience of learning from the best.

Other Applied Colleges

Ashoka University | Bachelor of Arts [BA] {Hons.} (History and International Relation)

The annual fees for both College and Hostel was getting way out of budget

JGU is delightful place!!

JSAT is mandatory to get admission in JGU. For Arts courses be if Economics, Political Science or any others, one also has to clear the interview rounds as well. So admission may take a while before you are confirmed for admission. I also applied to Graphic Era University for some other course and I had admissions there but when youbare qualified for Jindal who cares as JGU was always my first and only choice....Read More

I got confirm admission only from MNLU Nagpur but our college JGLS is much better than it in many sense. Ashoka University again and also MCC Bangalore as these are some of th colleges that offers this particular course. I think did best by ditching the rest two as MCC may be an old college but JGU still I feel is the best out of all. OPJGU: Not my first choice, but definitely the right one

I applied to multiple other universities as well, but I chose JGU because the university has top-notch faculty from abroad as well who hold PHDs from highly reputable universities. Most of my professors had PHDs from IITs and NIMHANS. JGU is very well known for it's global partnerships and study abroad programs, which make it a highly networked university as well. The campus is very secure and vibrant, which attracted me to it. Admission to JGU is not very difficult and can be achieved by most students. JGU offers fine study programs from qualified faculty, the campus is at the peak of Indian Universities, and the eligibility is not that high....Read More
