Serious review of The Galgotias University

As I said, faculties are amazing here, if you are really serious willing to do something, they can play an impostant role in this. Academics is very good here, course is also very demanding as we all know, if you can do harkwork on you own and you can not depend on university. You have to gain skill on your own and if you have any doubts so you can get help from you respected teachers. Teachers has knowledge but they only teach you from pdfs and from the study material given my head teachers. B.Tech in computer science and eng. is very demanding, it depend the field you are picked. I picked Blockchain Technology and it is very new and also has great future.

There are many virtual internships you get during the course. but for paid or offline internships, you have to arrange by yourself. It is very difficult to get an very good internship form here. You will get virtual internships from the first year year of your course Finding interships is very hard even harder fro the actual job. so you have to very concern about internships.

Placements are average here as compared to other private universities. As in 2024 due to high inflation rate anf the graph of the It market cap is falling down, there are pretty much normal placemtns. Around 3200 students are in CSE deparment(2024) and around only 500-600 students can placed. The fact is that there are only 500-600 students who are very serious about their studies and placements. Hence, if you are serious about your studies and you are puttiong you extra efforts by hardworking, you can easily get in-campus placements from here. Average CTC offered here arounf7-8 lakhs. So you have to put your real potential and hardwork to crack a high paid job from here(3-tier institutions).

As I mentioned, Galgotias University is one of the most affordable all over the the Noth India, The total fees (tution+examination fees) is just 6 lakhs 36 thousand (1 lakh 59 thousand) only. This level of facilities and public reputation university has over 10 lakhs for B.tech CSE(4 years), so this is the very least among them. There are so many private universities in whole Delhi NCR, galgotias has its unique name and reputation due to its high placement rate (in 2021) in just 10 years of time. you can also avail scholorships like National Scholorship and if you are from uttar Pradesh you can also claim UP scholorship. There is no other hidden charges in whole academics fees structure. Hostel fees is also not much high as compare to other private universities in whole Delhi NCR.

The only reason why i picked this university was public fame and placements records(of 2021). Overall experience is pretty average. All the type of private universities in Delhi NCR are same. So, there are no such unique things and onlt creamy layer of students are serious here for there studies and placements. for some students, camous life here is fun and creative but for introverts here life is very difficult anf not so good. So, again, it depends on you how you create your friend group. Great friend can make life great. There are so many fests and cultural events held here organize by many student clubs like dancing, drama and so on. But do not forget the main reason why are you come here. You have to balance you social life and academic life very carefully because if you come here, you will face so many distraction and bad habits also.

Hostel is great here anf food is also good and hygenic. Less spicy but great in taste and for out health and body also. facilities arr very rich here, an app named 'FretBox' is used to manage all the facilites and management. It is worthy here to stay in in-campus hostels. You can pick single or double occupemcy room with ac and non ac option which cost you around per annum is 1.26 lakhs for double bed and 1.55lakhs for double bed with ac. The only problem in incampus hostel is the availability of resources, as the location of campus is too far from the main city. So you have to travel a lot to nearest marks which is dankaur market by auto or any other transportations. You have also various option of out campus hostels and PGs.

The whole process of admission is very simple, almost every student took direct admission on the basis of their 12th marks, and very less number of peoples took with the basis of cuet examinations. The only eligibilty is having at least 60% in 12th examination of any type of board (private+public). First you have to go to university website and register yourself and pay 1100 (non-refundable) fees. The if you get offer letter from the main admission cell of university then you have to go to the university for physical document verification. You can also do this whole process in offline mode. After verification you have to pay token money of 25,000 which deducted from your annual fees. token money is not a hidden charges. If you are international student, you can easily get scholorships (you can see on website). The wholw process is very simple and if you get any doubt so you can easily ask any of the helpers over there (at admission cell).

Faculties are very great here, most of them are from reputued institutions. The have their PhDs or masters degree from IITS/DU/other goverment institutions and also has years of experience of teaching before the come to this univertsity. It depends upon you and you efforts because all faculties are ready to help you in your studies/projects also. There are so many events and other Hackathons held here, you can easily gat help from the teachers in projects and in other ways. Not all students are same, if you are introvert or having shyness for asking in front of the whole class, you can go to their respected cabins and ask you doubts in personal mode. Hence, faculties are great and always ready to help you in every and any phases.
