Course Curriculum Overview

4

I choose this course because that was suitable for what i want to do in the future. As I was from a commerce background this course was beneficial for me. The curriculum was not that bad, the subjects the practicals were helpful for the future aspects but of course there is always room for improvement. One of the improvement they can do is give choices to students to choose there subjects. The frequency and timing was good and the tests were also not that hard if you genuinely have learned for the test.

Fees and Financial Aid

The course was not very pricy as I joined the college with my merit. I did not apply for any scholarship or anything so I didn't had any financial aid for this The yearly fees of course was around 10,000 and it was good i think. They also didn't have any campus employment as per my thinking.

Campus Life

3.5

Campus life plays a significant role in shaping the overall college experience. The fests were the high key of the college, there was drama society, dance society, they were very enthusiastic. The library offers a vast collection of books, journals, and digital resources across disciplines. Access is convenient with extended hours and online databases, supporting both academic research and personal interests. classrooms are equipped with white board and the wifi also had good speed, the computer rooms were also good. The sports was one of the things i didn't get to see that much as there weren't many sports activities in the college.

Admission

I admitted in college by cut off. By 2 or 3 cut off, i admitted in vivekananda college. The thing I want to improve in admission process is reservation for general category and also the cut off goes very high. But now there is Cuet test so now your 12th marks don't matter. Cut off does go fairly high in this college. But as for my admission process it was good there were no difficulty in the process as the staff was very helpful.

Faculty

4

The faculty-to-student ratio is crucial for personalized attention. A lower ratio often means more individualized support and feedback, enhancing the learning experience. But in my college the faculty to student ratio was good there were enough teachers to help the students. Regular interaction with faculty is vital for clarification and guidance. The teachers were sometimes get angry or get frustrated as we were in lockdown period for one year but they were helpful too. If you interact with them and tell them your problems they were genuinely eager to help

The course provides a comprehensive image of finance and management, though after NEP, the curriculum seems a little irrelevent. The exams are conducted twice in a year, 2 sems per year, they conduct mid sem exams as well.
