Likes

The top companies visit our college, like Infosys, Capgemini, Welspun, Godrej, HUL, and TCS
The students were offered jobs in almost every field ranging from marketing and sales to core engineering
The college infrastructure is goog and awesome to see

Dislikes

Placements in our college are not as high as in NITs and IITs, but they are better than many state-level colleges
Deemed university so cant competition with other university student
College nirf ranking is very high above 150 between the compare of other college

Course Curriculum Overview

This university is deemed university then the faculty taught the subject also check the exam copy then exam level is moderate and easy type. Syallabus is more and time is minimum so minimise the Syallabus or maximise the time.

Class Size: 150Course Fees: INR 270000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fee increase policy with the government rule because it is government college. The complete course cost is maximum including all fee like mess, tution fee is 3 to 4 lakh.Poor boys fund and many central and state governments scholarship

Campus Life

Techfest is technical and Madhuram is cultural festival of this college. All type of book technical journal books are available in central library.All type of practical instrument is provided in college. For extracurricular activities gym is also available in all hostel.

Admission

Diploma in any college or university . On the college website sliet.ac.in. for the Punjabi or state cota the sheet is 50% reservation . The time period is 3 hour and exam question is easy and moderate.

Faculty

The faculty and teacher are well qualified. Most of the teacher studies in iit ,nit and foreign also. Faculty interact between the student like his/her child. Faculty prefer all languages like hindi english and Punjabi also.

A well-rounded diploma experience at LPU

Likes

Infrastructure Modern classrooms, well equied-labs, workshops,Liberary and clean, green, well-maintenaned campus.
Academic and faculty Supportive teachers,practical-focused learning, helpful labs sessions, and doubt-clearing support
Campus life diverse student crowd, cultural events, techanical fest, clubs, and a lively campus environment

Dislikes

Academic large class room size sometimes reduced individual attention and interaction with teachers
Facilities hostel and mess are high, and service feel crowed during peak hours.
Placements opportunities for diploma students are limited and need stronger industry tie-ups

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the course curriculum 4 out of 5 for relevence and comprehensiveness. It focused on core mechanical subjects, practical labs, and workshops, which helped me choose this course. The curriculum prepares student for jobs and higher studies. Exams conducted regularly and are of modern difficult. However, there ia still scope for improvement. More industry exposure, interships, and advanced machine- based training could further enhanced the curriculum. Overall, the course is relevant well-planned, and suitable for sudents aiming for techanical skills and career growth in mechanical engineering

You should go and watch college

Likes

My experience is they teaches very well. They teaches like our guardian
The positive things that if you could study hard then you will placed very well salary
Boys ratio per year 300 and girls ratio per year 200

Dislikes

Sports and cultural event is not very well organised
Organisations and cultural event is not good
They should improve organization and cultural event

Placement Experience:

5th semester student can apply and eligible for the placement. Companies like tata mahindhra infosys etc Highest package of our college is 50lpa and average package is 3 lpa Mostly 80% student placed My plans is to go good companies

It's First Polytechnic College of Punjab
Workshops Facility Is very good there is almost all the labs and workshops available
They provide Hand on hand practical Knowledge in workshops

Dislikes

There is No hostel facility for students who wants to live
There Is no canteen in the college which is a drawback
There Is no extra curricular activities provided to college students

I choose this college because it's a reputed college in my area for Diploma Course. It's Punjabs First Polytechnic College having Strong Alumini base They have almost all the labs and workshops Facility available to provide Practical knowledge and the staff of workshops are having some real world Industry experience

Pros and cons about tpc

Likes

There faculty teachers are so good and adjusting
College atmosphere is also good and cleanliness is there
Good events and happy to see students working in the them

Dislikes

Nothing much but the crowd should be improved
Discipline should be there around students
Only fan is there ac is available only in labs

Course Curriculum Overview:

It will help us to get direct admission in thapar university by leet we will go into 2nd year thats why I choose this way instead of 11,12 . There is nothing to improve everything is good . We have enough time to prepare for exams

Other colleges i applied was NITs, IITs but due to my jee rank i got lower branches there, here I got instrumentation branch which i loved most. i choose this college because it is the most affordable college for B.Tech. I also applied for tejpur university and also got admission but I didn't get this college because of there location and infrastructure. Yes I got a rejection from nit college because my rank was not upto for getting this college. This is SLIET

As I scored a decent percentile in the jee mains exam.So, I've some chances to get in the lower nits and lower branch but like Nit Rourkela, Manipur etc.But I wants to pursue my career in the computer science so I've to choose that one college where I got CS branch. It is a CFTI having some decent placements score and one of the main point is the fee of the college is some low from the other colleges. Not at all I got the other colleges but not the CS branch that's why I didn't choose that colleges over this. I got this college that time (in 2024) because I don't have good marks in jee mains and this college have not good nirf ranking that time but after coming to college the nirf ranking get improved from 182+ to 76th which is not bad.
