SLIET longowal has well structured curriculum as per new education policy with well structured labs. to prepare for real world, college provide funds for startup and also motivate students to gain industry exposure. Many improvements can be done in curriculum like integration of cutting edge technologies, smart board, digital labs. There are three exams per semester two minors which take place in month of august and september and major or end sem exam in month of october, the timing of exam was from 1 pm to 4 pm. the difficulty level of exam is moderate

SLIET Longowal fees vary based on program and category, for instrumentation branch it is 26200 tuition fees, development fund is 3300 other charges 3500, hostel fees 15000, one time refundable. for sc/st, fee relaxation applied as per government norms. other AICTE, merit scholarship and central government scholarship are also eligible for students.total fees comes around 3lpa to 4lpa, which is very affordable. I rate 5 over affordability

At Sliet longowal, the annual technical fest takes place in month of april while Mazzetta is celebrated as major annual cultural fest. The central library at SLIET is digital hub equipped with large collection of textbooks, research paper and PC. In Classrooms there is still blackboard but wifi facility is available all over the campus. There is a large ground for sports activities. many tournaments occur here frequently. Student groups like NSS work properly for people and animals

Other colleges i applied was NITs, IITs but due to my jee rank i got lower branches there, here I got instrumentation branch which i loved most. i choose this college because it is the most affordable college for B.Tech. The admission process for my college was through jee mains examination and then JOSAA counselling. If a student secure above 90 percentile in general then he can get circuit or tech branch easily

At sliet longowal, faculty to student ratio generally hovers around 1:12 to 1:15, allowing for a decent amount of interaction, Faculties are highly qualified though approachability heavily varies by department, most are approachable for doubts if a student initiates. The faculty who are so humble and kind was Dr. Ajay Pal Singh Sir. In my college there are typically four exams per academic year. two minor and two end semester exams. the difficulty level is generally balanced and moderate. In subjects like mathematics most students get back or low marks. It should be prepared well. The curriculum is strictly structured as per AICTE and NEP policy

There is a gym in our campus near sports ground which is full of equipments, There is a canteen named krishna food corner where you can eat different types of fast foods. Students can roam around campus whole night. campus in time is 5:00 AM till 10:00 PM. It is safe to roam around at nights.
