What Students Say

Likes

Our college doesn't have college dress, wear your favourite clothes
Our college is good for academics and focus on studies and maintain 75% attendance
Our college has very good in discipline as our Dean is a retire army colonel

Dislikes

Firstly they want 75% attendance no matter what health issue ir emergency student has.
They take fine for every small thing anything u do just give fine, always ready for taking money
No fest happened in our college ever, even our freshers doesn't happened

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Btech is my course. I chose it because I want to do engineering in computer science as it will be so much used in future and Btech course contain all the technical subjects which are related to our feild.

Class Size: 76Course Fees: INR 116056 per year

Placement Experience

1.5

Very bad placements of our college No bigger companies come in Our college like Amazon, google, Microsoft. Only off campus placements are good. Only mass recruitment held in our college for Accenture and more. Less than 40% of students get placed on campus from our college. My plan is to find a job off campus not on campus

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee is so muchh of this college like my total fees became 3 lakh combined of college and hostel. College provide scholarship for the students whose parent's annual income is less than 200000/- The amount of scholarship is 50k per year

Campus Life

They are no cultural festival held in our college. Yes technical featival held in April-May month. The Library contains so many books related to further studies. Our academic books will be provided to us from library and they take back after semester end. There impact on student life is that they have a friendship with seniors and have a lot of opportunities like public speaking, teaching etc.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Facilities are only study table, bed and fan and lan connection that's it. No paint on wall The meal is not good , some days meal's is good, some day it is very bad. Registration process for hostel is that it has a proper document and warden allot the room with any students , student choice is to take either 3 seater or 2 seater. Govindpuram is best for boys but not for girls For girls I recommend hostel

Hostel Fee: INR 115000 per year

Admission

Eligibility of the course is that u should cleared 85 and more percentile in your jee mains. Find this college on aktu site all UP's engineering college are associated with Aktu Reservations are only for sc at and obsc and the students whose parent's income is less than 4 lakh A lot of paper work done by the colleges should be improved, whatever they want they just said only once.

Faculty

3.5

Teachers are very helpful and very nice. They understand the students situations but not giving us attendance even someone jad health issuthey teach us very well. They were well experienced. Some teachers mainly focus on toppers only.

Other Applied Colleges

JSS Academy of Technical Education - [JSSATE] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Computer Science and Engineering)

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

What I See at SRM Ghaziabad

Likes

I really appreciated the college clubs and hackathons.
There are variety of events throughout the semester, something to always keep you on your feet.
Some of the faculties are really really experienced and have a unique approach that captures the attention of all the students.

Dislikes

Not many hotspots around campus to hang out after classes.
The infrastructure of the hostel can be improved a lot.
Food in mess is not great, the menu is not very diverse. Everything has aloo.

Placement Experience:

Placements are actually impressive with our college having the highest placement rate among others in the region. We usually achieve ~90% placement. We get opportunities from many large groups, such as Infosys, TCS, JPMC, BNY, Logitech, etc etc The list goes on. The highest package that I saw was of around 1Cr from a company I don't remember their name, but it was based out of SF and was a really great one. Average placement we see is around 12-20LPA packages.

Interactive classes and faculty is also very supportive.
The campus has all basic facilities from food to stationary.

Dislikes

The food may sometimes be not very good.
The campus has less places to spend some free time other than some spots.
Due to small academic hall places may look too crowded.

Placement Experience:

The placements in the college is really one of the the factors convincing everyone to take admission in SRM ,average package from the college is of around 10,00,000 which is really a very good amount in todays stresfull market.

More Information About AKGEC College

I got thus college through counselling and the top AKTU Affiliated colleges I opted to were JSS, AKGEC, ABES, from which I got ECE branch in AKGEC which I locked in the first round of counselling itself as I was satisfied with the college. The students could come through counselling or Cbse 12th percentage i.e management, counselling is done on JEE scores and 12th percentage should be more than 75-80% in PCM for unreserved prolly...Read More

Inside AKGEC Life

1) I had applied for colleges like jss noida,gl bajaj , kiet , akgec through UPTAC counselling for those who gave JEE Exam. i preferred this college because after reading reviews about it ,consulting senior students. 2) I could get this college based on my rank . I could not make it to other colleges because of their high cutoff for the CSE branch. 3) admission process includes direct admission where students are admiitted based on 10th,12th score and branches are alloted based on their score, 2nd is through the uptac counselling for students who want to get admission through JEE Score. overall admission experience was good....Read More

so bascially i didn't choose this college . i did mistake in my uptac counselling and get this college but when i studied here and seen all the aktu colleges i prefer this is good because it ranked 3 in up colleges .the college is ranked 3 in whole up and its naac A++ so yes its a great college so to get admission in akgec there are two ways by 10+2 percentage marks or by uptac counselling you have to fill your choices in uptac counselling so fill it very carefully without any mistake so the overall to get any cs/it branch your jee percentile should be above 88 and below that you can get any other core branches....Read More
