It has research facilities,hostel facilities,A.C Joshi library and beautiful campus.The has well organised administrative system.

Dislikes

There is nothing that I dislike about this university.But I don't like the atmosphere of university during elections.

Course Curriculum Overview

Best part in this univerisity is the Youth festival and various other activities like sports. Exams are from easy to moderate. It's easy to qualify the exam with some hardwork and dedication towards your course.

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 12000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Increase in fees structure is a drawback for the students who can't afford the fees. According to the fees there should be Proper Air conditioners in classrooms. There should be more vacancies for lecturers.

Campus Life

I don't remember much about that but one of the festival is youth festival.Which is the best part of this universities. There are various political parties and clubs. Library is also good. There is portal for students. If any inconvienence they faced they can contact the university for the same.

Admission

There is basic requirement of masters degree for courses like Phd. Selection is through UGC NET exam. And interview are conducted for eligible candidates who qualified ugc exam. After selection the students are eligible for research work.

Faculty

Total faculty - 900+ And faculty student ratio is 1:20 Faculty's approach to teaching is best. They are familiar with the students behaviour and know very well how to deal with every student. We can easily interact with teachers anytime.

Likes

I like the infrastructure of our college, there are lots of garden and food corners
Faculty of the college is really nice and helpful, they teach very well
Student council is very hardworking, they are always ready to help others out

Dislikes

Auditorium of the college is not good, it's in very poor condition
Few classrooms have leakage especially in the rainy season
Girls washrooms are less in comparison to boys washroom

Placement Experience:

There is a placement cell but I do not have much information about it, as my course does not offer any placements, but there are other courses such as BCA, BCom and BSc CS which offers placement, according to me it must be around 30k to 40k per month

Likes

The department has the best teachers,with a holistic approach.
The staff here is so cooperative and understanding.
You get access to a departmental library,with every book and magazine there.

Dislikes

Washroom are not good,there is not cleaning in the washroom

Panjab university Chandigarh, The dream university of all.

Likes

The university is well furnished and is available with every kind of necessities for students.
The food in the hostels of pu is affordable and is up to the quality needed
The faculty is very knowledgeable and is very kind and keen. The professors here have bookish knowledge as well as the knowledge of whole world outside.

Dislikes

There are some monkeys around the campus

Placement Experience:

Numerous companies keep collaborating with the university and many students are placed every year. The minimum value of package is 3.5Lpa and it goes up to 12Lpa depending upon the course and the ability of the students My plan after this degree is to clear the net/jrf because i want to be a professor in my respective subject.

Likes

The working of college procedure is very smooth
Campus Life is great with all kinds of facilities and interactive activities
The faculty is highly qualified and experienced

Dislikes

Timmings are a little issue as college starts at 8:30 am

Detailed knowledge of the subject is provided. But it can be said that syllabus is sometimes quite lengthy but the teachers to their best to improvise the best they can and in depth of what they teach.

A university where dream comes true

Likes

Infrastructure is very good teachers are also very good
Sports facility is also very good there indoor and outdoor both
Hostel facility and mess food is good and there is also groceries shops

Dislikes

Less university transportation facility for the students
Less regularised classes and there is not that much study environment
Hygienic can be little better and more placements

Big class , friendly staff , the college was good at sports
Examinations are sorted out and affiliated with Punjab University

Bad infrastructure, too many students in such a small faculty
Basketball court conditions are not that good
Elections are such a headache in dav college

Remarks:

There are very limited art college in india and GCA Chandigarh is 1 of them. I opted for printmaking because I wanted to explore different mediums of expression. The college is well equipped with faculty experienced in their own particular mediums aswell as exploring new mediums. You will get the freedom to build you creativity.
