Dislikes
- One of the most tough acadamically courses. Tough to score the CGPA.
- 80 % attendance are compulsory and from this sem they have started biometric attendance.
- They dont provide branch change option to thee students with good CGPA instead of that thay provide Minor courses.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is defined are a lot of research, and course curriculum is to the point . mostly 3 labs are simultaneously their for the practical education. difficulty level of the exam depend on the faculties.
Placement Experience
The excellent performance when we talk about the placements. Having highest placement of 89 lakh last year . and avg package are also overall good with 31 lakh of Computer science . Other branches also have good highest package and average package.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is 62500 per sem for students with parental income greater than 500000. 2/3 fee emission for student with family income 1-5 lakh . SC ST and all with family income less than 1 lakh are exempted from fee.
Campus Life
NITW is having excellent infrastructure and having 1k and 1.8 Hostel. technical fest is Technozion. And cultural fest is Springs spree. Excellent central library with completely Air conditioned , digital Library. More than 20 clubs.
Hostel Facilities
Excellent hostel with good infrastructure , first year students are given 1.8 k hostel . 2nd years are given Blocks and 3 and 4th year rare give 1K hostel. The hostel fee structure is also moreover similar having 14000 per the hostel fee.
Admission
The admission process is through jee mains and you have to score excellent to get into this college . reservation as: 50 % for home state, obc , st, sc reservation are there and 1/3 reservations for the girls students.
Faculty
Most of the faculties are Excellent. Mostly faculties are from the top IIT or NIT graduates having excellence command over the subjects. All the faculties are always ready to help students and students can easily approach students in their offices as well. But some faculties are literally very bad, they don't have good command over subject , just come to class start whatever they know irrespective of the course. Overall, faculties are good .
