Course Curriculum Overview

3

I personally chose CSE as it has good future and the subjects in CSE help us crack good job. To be honest, the curriculum doesnot prepare that well for further academic pursues. We with our own interest should learn new things and explore in this competitive world. Especially few of the faculty should be removed to improve the course curriculum and also teaching should be more effective with real world applications. The faculty even should motivate all the students in order to mould us into the better version of us. As the system in our college changed to open book system the questions asked in the exam are real time application based where we need to write the concept which is used in the application from our materials where few are satisfied with the system and few are not satisfied.

Internships Opportunities

2.5

Amazon, Cisco, Tech mahindra, Cognizant, Accenture, TCS, Wipro, Savntis, Legato, DBS, Qualcomm and many more are the companies that offer internships with stipend. I don't have that good idea on projects and outcomes.

Placement Experience

3

We'll be eligible for campus placements from 6th semester. Many companies like Accenture, IBM, Wipro etc visit our college and many offers are made. Highest package this year was 51 lpa and average package is between 6-7 lpa. Due to recession this time 30% of students got placements. My plans after getting degree are to do job and learn and explore new things.

Fees and Financial Aid

Once joined, the tuition fee is fixed for all the 4 years. But the tuition fee is increased according to their will and wish every year. The complete cost of my education would be between 7-7.5 lakh for 4 years. Tuition fee is different for all the categories like EAMCET, Inter board exams according to the result we get. As iam pursuing my 2nd year currently i didnot get a chance to participate in any job roles

Campus Life

4

Cultural fests: Sparkrill conducted in Jan or March, Swagatam(freshers) conducted in Sep and all the branches have separate days for farewell for final year students. Techinal fests: Mun conducted in March or Apr, Many workshops, project expos and branch oriented techinal fests. There is a wide range of collection of multiple books of all journals in library which are accessible to all the students who have membership in library which is free. Every week we'll be having 2 hrs for extracuriccular activities and we can also play in our free times by taking the material from indoor area like shuttle bats, cocks, balls, ricket bats etc. There are many clubs in our college. Myself being the president of drama and theatre club we'll be involved in conducting club activities every week where all students can participate and have fun. Especially clubs would be more active before and during cultural fests for practices. Student portal is good that shows all student details and easy accessible.

Admission

You are eligible to CSE course if you pass all the intermediate subjects with a better grade. You can get application form and all from google by searching SR university or from our social media handles on instagram, linkedin etc. We need to wait for some time in queue during admission process and i feel that there should be 1 to 1 interaction between the staff who take admissions and the parents until all the doubts are clarified.

Faculty

2.5

For theory classes only 1 faculty will be teaching all the students in class. We understand few of the subjects. And for lab hours 2 faculties will be monitoring each faculty will be monitoring a batch of 30 students, but one of them would be phd scholars where gradually all the students should depend on only 1 faculty to clarify our doubts. Each batch of 30 students will be having a faculty mentor to whom we can ask all our doubts academically or personally. The student mentor interactions will be scheduled once a week for namesake but we can approach them at any time we want. To a conclusion, I can say that not all the faculty have much knowledge about the subject but they teach us to their extent. And few faculty teach in such a way that we understand everything very easily by listening once and few are completely opposite to this.

Other Applied Colleges

G Narayanamma Institute of Technology and Science - [GNITS] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Computer Science and Engineering)

As it is far away from my living place, my parents didn't will to send me to hostel.

Kakatiya Institute of Technology & Science - [KITSW] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Computer Science and Engineering)

As we got to know that SRU is better than KITSW

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like that the course doesn't feel outdated. Along with the regular subjects we spend a lot of time on coding, projects, and problem solving so it feels connected to what companies actually expect. As a second year student i already feel like i am building skills that i will be able to use during internships and placements and not just preparing for semester exams

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is one of the best parts of studying at NIAT. The subjects are designed according to what companies are looking for today, so we get to learn the latest technologies and ai tools. Classes are not limited to just lectures. Wr start using laptop from the first sem itself and most of our learning happens through coding, practical sessions, and real projects. This hands on approach makes learning more interesting and helps us understand concepts much better than just studying from books
