- The faculty is extremely helpful with the course issues.
- The campus life is pretty decent although it's a very small campus but you can always go for the university other campuses to roam.
- The curriculum is wholesome, inclusive of every aspect.
Dislikes
- You might have to negotiate your college life. There are not many fests or activities conducted in the university
- The session is very delayed. Some times the teachers are also not able to complete their courses.
- The campus is not inclusive of hostel. Their hostel campus is a little far from the academic campus.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum perfectly aligns with the Bar council of India's preferred curriculum. They also grant leaves for doing intership and grasp the practical aspects and essence of being a lawyer. You will have 4 exams in a year, 2 each semester. Each semester there will be a mid semester paper of 20 marks, this will be an internal exam. The internals are of 40 marks, 20 marks for mid semester, 10 marks for assignment, 5 marks for attendance and 5 marks for presentation. You will also have a semester paper at the end of each semester of 60 marks. You need to pass seperately in both internal and semester paper. Passing marks for internal is 16 marks and for semester its 26 marks.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee for a year is 51000 excluding hostel. There is a merit based scholarship scheme in the college wherein students get scholarship based on their merit in odd semester. Since it comes under central university you can also avail the state and central scholarship scheme.
Campus Life
Not much fests are held in the college. You will have a freshers in your 1st year. A congrego party will also be conducted in march which has an entry fee around 800, In March, a fest named Udbodhan will also be held.
Hostel Facilities
The room and meal quality is decent. The girls hostel is far better than boys hostel. The hostels are also allotted on the basis of merit. If you haven't got the merit you can always opt for pg or room.
Admission
You can apply through cuet ug after completing your 12th. You meed to have general test, english and legal studies in cuet ug to apply in ballb course. Then after your results the university site will open the registration forms fill it up, pay the fees and just wait for the counseling to start. Last yr in 2023 the cutoff for general was 527 out of 650. If you are from unreserved category the cutoff is pretty high so you need to prepare yourself well for cuet ug to get admission.
Faculty
Faculty members are great while some are pretty decent so it can be said overall the faculty is good. All the teachers have doctorates in their respective subjects. You can easily apprach the faculty during the college hours if they are not teaching in some other class.The faculty to student ratio is 1:75 for a subject but the faculty is excellent in managing all the students you can always ask questions during or after classes.
